- What is a good domain to backlink profile?
- I just used Link Research Tools to check out a webpage being advertised on Adsy.com. The main domain had 67 referrring domains and 27K backlinks. To me this seems like RankerX or SE Nuke gone wild.

- Shouldn't there be a lot more referring domains.
- Or is that about right, given that Tumblr, FB, WP, and all these other web 2.0s use subdomains, so they don't get counted as seperate.

- Click to expand...Toughie. Depends on how those referring domains are linking to this one. If they're in the header or footer, and are vast websites in their own right, could quickly account for massive sums of backlinks. Can you see the links from the referring domains and their placement? This should answer your question, realistically.
- If you post one awesome blog post a month but spend 30 hours a week promoting that to people and finding new readers for it, the results could be just as good as if you write a new post every day and spend just a few hours promoting it.
