Before I tell you my story you need to know about me. At the time of this event I was 8 but it wasn't a dream I still have scars from that day reminders of gods cruel joke.I fell like i'm kind and caring but I have limits just like any human that day i was pushed to them. I'm lucky to here here to share this story but with that out of the way lets start.

I was asleep in my bed with green sheets covering my face. I awoke to a loud bang so being curious i went to see what it was. I wish I didn't. i went to were i thought the noise came from and saw all furniture the crashed and shattered on the ground. So I ran up to my parents room scared shit-less to tell them but they were gone.

I was starting to freak out I couldn't fathom what was happening my family was gone my home in shambles. I called my brother on the landline but no answer right as I hung up the phone I heard a thud from my bathroom followed by a loud moan I grabbed a kitchen knife and went to the bathroom to see what it was. as i reached for the door knob i heard breathing I shivered and shoved the door as hard as I  could and ran in. A man at least 8 feet standing there with the window open behind him I screamed as he reached for me.

I kicked him in the shin and he dropped to his knee without hesitation I slashed him twice before he grabbed me and threw me across the room into the mirror as it shatters i felt my blood oozing from my cuts. i dropped my knife and he picked it up and said "your all alone you cant run or hide so stay still I'll make it quick." I moved on autopilot I grabbed a shard of glass and slit his throat.

Blood spurted from his neck and onto me unsure if he was going to live I stabbed him twelve times in the chest. after about an hour my parents got home and found me crying in the bathtub. they called to me and i looked up  to them starring in fear and confusion i just looked at the shard of glass wiped of the blood and saw me drenched in blood with a smirk on my face laughing
