If you'd look up bitter in a textbook you'd see a picture of Orchid. His unimpressive stature is rivalled only by his affinity for old handmedowns from his four older siblings, who all happen to be magical. In fact everyone in his family is magical. Except for Orchid. He's grown up hating pretty much everything and has developed a complimentary slouch to further his bitter old man image.
It's just too bad that he looks nothing like an old man. He's stuck in that perpetual twelve-year old look. With a freckled nose and braces. None of his siblings needed braces. Theeeeey all fixed their teeth with maaaagic. He cuts his hair himself because he was banned from the hairdresser at some point. Probably had to do with breaking a mirror or something. Who knows. But that's why his hair always looks so weird, all choppy and in his face. He also has incredibly bad luck, which might stem from that broken mirror but you never really know. After all he isn't magical at all.
