- Caressing your ear, the voice of Aeldra whispers, "Tidings, Avaris. How do you
- fare? It has been a while."
- You tell Lady Aeldra Ladyn, of Cerulean Waters, "Ah, Aeldra! It has been some
- time, yes - I am most gladdened to hear your voice once more. I am well, thank
- you - Working on my Devotion task of late. What of yourself?"
- Caressing your ear, the voice of Aeldra whispers, "Oh, I've been mostly sleeping,
- having some issues of the soul. I would swing by you after the quake, if you
- would have the time?"
- You tell Lady Aeldra Ladyn, of Cerulean Waters, "For you, I would make the time,
- Aeldra. I will await you - Do not hurry."
- The base of a small waterfall.
- A hornbeam sapling clings tenaciously to the ground here. A small, mottled pig snuffles about here,
- looking for food. Yvai, the battle sheep dwells here, antler-bearing head raised proudly. Head
- bowed, an anointed urn-bearer of water and light holds aloft the blessed vessel here with a
- reverent, stoic grace. She is surrounded by a deflection bubble.
- You see exits leading south and through a luminous waterfall.
- Aeldra smiles at you as she flits in. "Ah, there you are. Should've just entered through the
- waterfall. Was checking on Tavi."
- Avaris bends at the waist in an elegant bow, the gold of his chitin gleaming in the
- faint light of the stars as his three pairs of gently effulgent wings stretch out behind him. "I
- fear I have roamed overmuch in the Lady's Realm this month - Any more and I may begin to test even
- Her patience, I believe." Straightening, the dense red of his four antennae flows and twitches in
- small undulations as he regard Aeldra, voice fond, "It is good to see you, Aeldra."
- Aeldra tilts her head slightly, "I do not believe that She would mind much, really. She would've not
- make the invitation She did?" she taps her nose thoughtfully, "I think you were fine. It is good to
- know that there are some people keeping an eye on Her realm as well."
- The spiked halo of Avaris's aureate pauldron rises into the thick white of his ruff
- like the spires of a bastion being subsumed by cloud, as the kephera shrugs a single shoulder.
- "Perhaps, but I think few have taxed Her basin of memory so ardently as I have this past month." A
- dip of his head in agreement, and he says, "Indeed. Few seem to, lately. Even Caleb has ceased
- reporting on guiding the anchoresses to safety."
- Aeldra frowns and nods at your words. "I need to be returning to keep my eyes out for them as well.
- Helping them is a priority, keeping them safe. As well as it is for Tavi." she smiles, "Other then
- visiting the basin as much as you have, how have you been?" She flutters back a little, hovering in
- the air and she ponders you up and down, her features breaking into a smile "You've fanned your
- spark since we last met, have you not?"
- "Indeed it is - I could use the assistance, as I am not always awake to tend to
- them all myself." Avaris replies firmly, the smaller pair of his antenna curling down and forward.
- "Hm?" He looks down at himself, brushing self-consciously at the natural armour that forms his
- torso, his stance growing a shade awkward as he utters a low, rueful laugh. "Ah, yes. I suppose I
- have. Ostentatious, I know, but I promise you it was done for a practical purpose, not vanity."
- Clearing his throat, he folds his hands together at the small of his back, straightening. "I have
- been well. Wrestling with the task. I did meet Immaculate Nabithia rather unexpectedly, which
- was...Interesting."
- Aeldra nods softly at you, "I would not have counted vanity as one of your character traits Avaris."
- her eyes sparkle with amusement "it wouldn't be something that would befit you. If you were focused
- upon appearance, I would feel it would be to adhere to expected standards and to the respect one
- would want to show to those by being in a presentable state, not because you would feel overflowing
- importance on the matter." She tilts her head slightly at the water fall, asking "You have? I heard
- Gurashi mentioned it a little bit ago to me in the timequake."
- You think to yourself: A warm pulse of camaraderie, of the simple pleasure of being in the presence
- of someone regarded fondly, that has been missed. "Ever kind in how she perceives me. I shall do
- what I can to be worthy of such."
- A rippling wave of brilliant motes of light spreads throughout each of Avaris's
- seven eyes as he inclines his head in gratitude. "There is that, yes. In addition, there is the
- simple matter that being giant and shining tends to draw fire first in a battle." The lower left of
- his hands frees itself to gesture towards the waterfall with a slight twist of the wrist. "Indeed. I
- was within one of the studies of the old Tahtetso guildhall, working on my task, when Gurashi
- dropped by to pay me a visit. During such, Nabithia arrived, and, ah...Well, what did Gurashi tell
- you of the encounter?"
- Aeldra shakes her head slightly, "I'm afraid only the bare minimum that you talked with her." she
- tilts her head, saying "I'm sorry I have to cut our conversation short. We shall talk about this
- soon, I am needed at home."
- Avaris's chin lowers in a swift nod. "Of course. Do not let me keep you, Aeldra. I
- hope to see you again in the near future."
- Aeldra hugs you compassionately.
- Falling into a light trot, Yvai, the battle sheep trots out to the ether.
