We understand the frustration with not having full functionality of your Poloniex account, but as a money services business, Poloniex is required to comply with all applicable laws regarding identification and verification of its customers. Since our notification in December, Circle has been completing a full review of Poloniex's practices and has determined that immediate verification of all customers is required in order to meet our legal obligations and protect all customers. Section 5 of our User Agreement states that our “customer verification procedures are subject to change at any time as required by law or industry practices. We must comply with the law and you accept any inconveniences to you or other consequences resulting from our compliance."
