Pennsylvania Update - Because we have not forgotten those victims of negligence by the staff at The Second Mile, nor those who have influenced a "push-it-under-the-rug" after focusing on Sandusky as a lone perp.

Issues with the Judge in Sandusky's arraignment

When Jerry Sandusky was initially arraigned, prosecutors requested $500,000.00 bail and that Sandusky be required to wear a leg monitor.
District Judge Leslie Dutchcot, however, ordered that Sandusky be freed on $100,000.00 unsecured bail. She ordered that Sandusky be freed and pay nothing.
Judge Dutchcot is a volunteer for Sandusky's group, The Second Mile. Sandusky turned himself in the morning of November 5.
Given the nature of the charges, the small town atmosphere and her relationship to Second Mile, Judge Dutchcot should have recused herself from being involved with this process. Or, that could be precisely why she did not.

PA Attorney General Tom Corbett ignored complaints about misuses of $7 billion Hershey Trust as far back as 2007. The question is whether Corbett owes too much to his political allies including Hershey Trust chairman Leroy Zimmerman to investigate them fairly. Corbett has significant conflicts of interest w leadership of the Trust who sponsor fundraisers for his campaign in the millions. The Trust exists for one purpose - to provide a boarding school for as many needy kids as funds allow.

However, they used their for profit subsidiary HERCO to serve their own purposes. The Inquirer pointed out that HERCO has paid less than 0.002 percent of their revenues to support the school in recent years, even though the school owns 100% of HERCO. HERCO controls the hotels, amusement park, campground, etc

Four of Sandusky’s accusers—identified as victims # 4, 6, 7 and 8 —all first made their acquaintance with Sandusky between 1994 and 1997 through The Second Mile (TSM).
The Pa. Attorney General (AG) from 1995 to 1997 was Tom Corbett, who later became AG again in 2005 before being elected Governor in 2010.

####### Corbett claims he only learned of the Sandusky allegations in March 2009, yet he accepted over $200K in campaign contributions from trustees of the TSM (which Sandusky founded). In the quid pro quo world of politics, Corbett also re-released to TSM a $3 million grant after being elected governor in 2011. Now, analyze the timeline. Corbett says he learned of the charges against Sandusky in 2009, yet two later he’s forwarding a cool $3 million to them.

From the month he learned of the Sandusky allegations to the day he took office as governor, Corbett’s AG office issued 42 press releases touting hundreds of arrests by the Corbett-commissioned Child Sexual Predator Unit.” Strangely enough, Corbett’s crime-fighters didn’t mention a single word about Sandusky.
