The future of ArcticMC

Hello Everyone! Today I want to do an update about Arctic that I have been dreading for months

After some discussion amongst the staff team, we have decided to make this situation public in the hopes that being transparent with this issue, will allow our community to best help resolve this situation

Getting straight to the point; Arctic is unfortunately running out of funds, and at the current rate can't stay open much longer

At this current time, we have roughly enough to keep the server open for the next 2 months

Despite this predicament, our team and I are still motivated to keep the server running, and are trying to come up with ideas to make sure we can continue to stay open for many more years

Some short term plans we have right now are:
* Starting a new stats season this week
* Hosting Marathon to start the new season
* Bringing back our Christmas event

What we are looking for is for your ideas and suggestions as to what we can feasibly do to revive activity and incentivise donations. Please keep in mind that we are bound to the Minecraft EULA, but any ideas may help.

If you are in a financial situation where you want to help the server, that would be very helpful and greatly appreciated

I am definitely not ready to give up on my server, and we have made it too far to give up now. I hope in a years time I am still in the incredibly fortunate position of running this server for our community
