Reasoning: Under many circumstances Chi continues to be dealt bad hands when it comes to battle, either she lacks the ability to land some of her abilities or just the general brute force to leave a mark on opponents. She battled against a saiyan recently, showing their ability to consistently blast her back with a corkscrew punch, constantly assaulting the Yokai's gameplan with such a ability.

Martial arts was her life, and until she branched out her variety of techniques to include Ki furthering her physical assault seemed worthwhile, the Ikkotsu would be a blow set on allowing her to dominate combat, something she could use as a follow up to her arsenal and maintain some level of control in battle.

Losing so much felt like an open opportunity to expand her skillset, and hopefully in a rematch she would be able to crush Tuyato and inflict -permanent- damage upon them as a warning of what someone serious with the Ansatsuken could do.
