- You see a circular cave about 30 feet wide, the floor hidden by bloody water, the air thick with foul purple smoke. The smoke appears to be coming from the mouths of dozens of severed heads, propped up on rock piles and arranged in circles around the deep pool in the center. Standing in the pool is a rubbery eel-like creature, in front of a crude alter, where another of the creatures lies eviscerated by the things sharp tails. From a stone tablet, which seems to be absorbing the purple smoke, it plucks a black pearl, which seems to almost be glowing with Darkness, and jams it into the open neck wound of its companion. The eel-corpse jerks to life and smoke coalesces in the wound, spilling out and forming into a vague head shape, with glowing eyes.
