A new take on the Swapfell Bros

ok so this is gonna get a little unusual so bear with me.

Papyrus- Despite the underground being in complete shambles and full of evil monsters, Papyrus still has hope. He is probably the only one that isn't evil or out to hurt anyone. He doesn't even have an act to hide his kindness, he's open with it. Monsters often beat him up to teach him a lesson in reality. Sans constantly tries to tell him to toughen up and that not everyone can change. Papyrus refuses to believe that however. He'll keep pushing for a kinder underground no matter what. Papyrus does not have any desire of capturing a human because there are bigger priorities than that. Even in genocide, Papyrus still believes you're capable of changing. He doesn't want to fight because that won't solve the problem. That won't bring all his friends back. But that leaves something much greater. Kill him and have him be reunited with all his friends and family or leave him there all alone to be stuck in that wasted world.

Sans- Sans doesn't have as much hope as Papyrus. He knows that Papyrus is only trying to do good but it worries him. He's aware that Papyrus gets beat up by most of the other monsters and personally teaches his own lesson to those that do. Sans is fairly unchanged from canon but definitely has a changed perspective on the underground. His trust is a little bent out of shape. Sans actually does put on a bit of an act unlike his brother. Not really through his personality but through his clothes. If he looks fearful, that's good enough. He wears a hoodie instead of his usual jacket, bunny slippers, and a bandana with sharp teeth on it around his mouth. Sometimes he'll give himself angry eyebrows to look even scarier. He still cracks jokes that annoy Papyrus. He fights the human out of fear. Out of fear of what they might do to his brother and what they might do to everyone in Waterfall and beyond. For his date, he just takes you out to grillby's. Sans is still a normal sentry just like in canon.
