In the distant future, technology was three steps ahead. Imagine holograms for practically everything you'd ever need to work with and a robot at every corner. True daylight is almost never shown, as you wouldn't need so under a dome. The synthetic lighting is good enough. Not that certain oddities did not still exist. The seas were completely intact and there were just some rarities that science couldn't explain. Maybe it was because 'they' didn't want to explain. Not that anyone would have to worry about 'them', of course.
 Despite all this fancy technology, you're all locked in a warehouse. ONE of you forgot to keep the door open, since it locks behind you. None of you have the key, so now you're just stuck in this grape warehouse filled with different boxes and shit waiting to be shipped. Just gotta wait till some worker comes along and opens it up for y'all.

Yar, har, fiddle dee dee, being a pirate is alright with me! Or something to that effect.

Brunswick's a strange dude. Most of my ocs are. Is this really a surprise to you? But Brunswick's a different kind of strange, honestly. A bit of a rogue, generally spends most of his time on his boat -- er, his 'ship', as he calls it. Holy fucking shit he loves boats -- but that's another story. He feels much more at home out on the sea rather than at land, and spends most of his time hunting around for buried riches across vast expanses of land typically abandoned by it's previous inhabitants, reaping in the cash in the night with a bottle of rum and a mouth full of shanties.

A pirate, more or less. Yar.

His morals are definitely questionable, and he's generally pretty chill about what other people do. That's their business, not his -- most of the time, at least. It's not typically until he or anyone he cares about gets involved that he really starts to care. He's... generally quite chill in general, though sure as hell isn't afraid to tussle if you rub him the wrong way. Rustle his jimmies a bit. Something like that. But still. Pretty chill. A bit dense, though, and so behind on modern times it's absolutely /painful/.

Tall tan man who's complexion shouldn't be much of a surprise considering how much time he spends out on the open waters. Messy dark brown hair, with a slight stubble of the same color on his chin. He's got a damn nice jawline too, apparently. His eyes match the color of his namesake... or, eye, considering there's an eyepatch covering the other. Is there anything even under there? Maybe. One of his teeth are golden and one of his hands is a hook. Got a lot of missing body parts, don't you, pal?

Jeez, who invited this guy? Silent, intimidating, and about as sturdy and stolid as a brick wall. His main form of communication is through action, and the few times he does use his booming voice, he is surprisingly well spoken. He is able to pick and convey exactly what emotions he shows at any given point, which is usually a form of protectiveness for those who he feels are at an unfair disadvantage in any situation. He dresses in dark greys and blues, accenting his icy blue eyes and jet black hair, held back in a sort of windswept style by some sort of hair product or something. Maybe magic.

Who's this asshole? Well, he's not much, that's for sure. Really, he's just a dick. With a knife in hand and all dressed in black, he looks like a threat but he's got a bit of good somewhere down there. His hair is stylishly cut, swooping to the left side while dyed red, but his brown eyes were nothing to write home about. Somewhat of a lean build, one that could still easily be crushed, he's more nimble than anything. He certainly doesn't know when to stop talking either, even if half of the things he says are sly remarks.

[ NB, 5'9", ???? ] Hey, look! Your average dinner guest! Except they're really, really not. Yeah, this is... this is a zombie. But hey! They... are actually pretty well preserved.

This person doesn't know much about their past. Like, they remember very, very little. Most of what they know was told to them by the scientists that found and rehabilitated them. You see, the zombie was just stumbling around, as hungry as any undead, until they were captured for testing by scientists. They are now one of the first fully rehabilitated and sentient zombies! Though they're still pretty hungry.

For a variety of reasons, they are kept on a medication cocktail, and the combination of this, therapy, and willpower has helped them to keep their undead evil in check. They've only attempted to eat someone... three times! Yay!!

As mentioned, they can't remember terribly much, including their age and their gender. As a result, they've just decided to identify as nonbinary since they don't have much of a leaning towards any gender, and they just kind of... hold up a few fingers when asked their age. They can count to six now! They show this off every time they are asked their age. Which is considerably confusing for anyone on the receiving end of this gesture, since this zombie really doesn't look like they're six years old. Oh well.

Most of the time, they seem confused and kind of tired, and it takes them a few seconds to process certain things. Expect a lot of "ummm" and "uhhh"s. But they're very friendly! They want to learn about humans, so they maintain as much communication with them as possible. Not that they're quite able to discern a human from most other things. Demon? Oh, hey, human, nice healthy flesh! Angel? I love your beating heart! Plant? Hello, human!! Yeah. To help with introductions, they have a series of flash cards that introduce things such as their eating restrictions and medications. And, you know, explaining their situation. They're not too good at that.

You can't quite tell what their ethnicity was when they were living, but now they seem pretty green. Their hair is long and black, and they wear a dark blue sweater and incredibly loose pants with suspenders. The suspenders are so that they can just shake off the straps and let the pants fall off when its time to go to bed or whatever. (They don't actually sleep, but they're practicing to learn how.) Other than that, they have a little fanny pack that holds all their meds and index cards, and they wear cute little slippers. Once again, for ease of putting on and taking off.

 Ruby is a really funky girl. Like, seriously. There's something wrong with her, probably. She seems to have been taught the English language in the 1980's, because she sounds like Beetlejuice and the Breakfast Club were her teachers. Aside from her interesting vocabulary, she's a very clueless woman. She's not very understanding of dangerous situations, or she just purposely forgets about them. She does try her best to be friendly, despite how confused she seems to be all the time. Is very touchy-feely with people she shouldn't be touching or feeling, and is inconsiderate about what people think of their nicknames that she gives to them on a whim.
