- Now this is a big scene all together as the bandits being Bastion.. Katherine, Cruinne one other. Uri would observe the situation as a young medic who swore to protect the people of Osrona and here. That same resolve would be tested as he made an attempt to actually sacrifice himself and take them all on...However, the others such as Alice did not feel too good about this and so everyone would fight making this a 4v4 while this particular scene would focus on Uri and his fight with Cruinne, a man he thought to be his righteous rival, someone who would push him for the purpose of freedom only to come across him as an enemy this day.
- 13:26] "Mmn."
- She didn't have much of an answer, in regards to her thoughts on the place. "I think Rinn is reasonable enough. Young, but got potential. Don't have much of an opinion on tha' place as a whole."
- Simply put, she believes...
- "I think it's chaotic- oh." Even as people begin to pile into their chokehold, Penelope remains rather lax. Leaning against the rails, with a pipe between her lips.
- "I don't see any nobles, or Order folk..." And until one arrived, she'd no intentions of stopping any other.
- (Penelope Dayndros)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [13:26] Bastion whispers something.
- [13:27] Penelope Dayndros says, "Ah, shit. Wait."
- [13:27] Red Alice says, "... Uh."
- [13:28] Bastion says, "For maximum improvement, we can capture and kill them all."
- [13:28] Bastion says, "Yes."
- [13:28] Katherine was casually strolling around the woods looking for potion ingredients when she heard some sort of commotion up ahead. Her illusory clone was clearing the way with its sword, and Katherine had hundreds of illusory leaves falling around her. Her eyes were glowing a constant silver, and her silvery mana rolled across her body. Anyone who were to glance at her would see parts of her body seemingly dissolving into particles, or blurring into existence.
- Seeing the group up ahead with her own eyes, Katherine would notice Alice, whom she hadn't spoken with in months. Her silvery eyes rolled across the crowd before landing on an unknown group of people. Katherine's clone had already wandered too close to the crowd for Katherine to be able to withdraw, and anyone who looked even remotely towards her location would be able to see the effects she expressed with her vibrant mana.

- [13:31] Talmhainn Cruinne whispers something.
- [13:31] Bastion whispers something.
- [13:31] Bastion says, "I apologize."
- [13:31] Bastion says, "We cannot capture and kill you all."
- [13:31] Talmhainn Cruinne says, "..."
- [13:31] Uri would follow Esbern'o west and somewhere near the bridge... A man or a group rather manage to block their path.. So the young medic would observe the situation. "Uhm?.. This is a big number of people---Cruinne?" he looks at the familiar face. Truly lost as to what was going on.
- He looks at Esbern, who was the fastest of the bunch, out and about, past their formation of 4 combatants. "Is there something going on with the bridge?" He figured this was Osrona territory.
- (Uri Sanctum)

- [13:31] Bastion says, "Mountain has awared me of this."
- [13:31] Bastion whispers something.
- [13:32] There's an eerie moment of pause. It seems as though, after all of her treks around the world, it had finally happened. Her eyes latch onto two familiar figures in particular.
- The first was Penelope. They hadn't been formally introduced, but it seemed as though she had still been acting as a bandit. She offers a wave in her direction. "Um... Hi. We met before- when we were looking for that Draknite lady."
- The second was an unfamiliar figure- one that had only been described to her before. She wasn't sure, specifically, about the context, but it seemed as though this person was still alive.
- "Wait a second... Are you..."
- Her head tilts in Bastion's direction.
- "Do you know Miura?"
- (Red Alice)

- [13:33] Dornar says, "Hmh."
- [13:33] Dornar says, "This is taking far too long."
- [13:33] "Let's not start a fight."
- Raisa honestly didn't want to bother with this right now. The news that they can't capture and kill them 'all' only eases her concern slightly. Obviously, she has no intention of ditching even a single member of their own group. However, there's no need for a battle to take place here. It'd just be a mess for herself and others.
- "Why are you here, anyway?" Raisa queries, curious as to their intent and reasoning for being here, she feels it necessary to question them on the nature of their presence for the sake of satisfying her own curiosity.
- (Raisa Tors)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [13:34] Bastion says, "Yes Dornar, it is."
- [13:34] Bastion says, "Improvement, depends on Patience."
- [13:36] Katherine casually strode out of the trees. Knowing her clone had given away her location, she sought no reason to attempt to conceal herself. Waving at the girl Alice, Katherine would throw a casual greeting.
- "Afternoon Alice. Long time no see. I see there's some sort of situation going on over here." Waving her hand, some of Katherine's mana would drop from the tip of her finger onto the floor beside her, before rapidly warping and distorting into some sort of disfigured chair. Lazing sitting in it, Katherine's amber-brunette hair would fall into waves over her shoulder. Dancing her eyes across the crowd, she looked for signs of familiar faces, but she only knew Alice. Raising one of her porcelain skinned hands to her face, Katherine would rest her chin in her hand in thought as she scanned the group for signs of movement.
- (Katherine Sanct)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [13:37] The Black Bandit, quite clearly was becoming unimpressed with those around him. They were meant to be bandits, brigands... Highwaymen-- Yet they couldn't even rob a group of nobodies? Instead they stood here hesitant and, ultimately useless.
- "You guys are supposed to be bandits. Cold hearted stealing machines-- Yet, you don't do anything. This is how we do it where I'm from." he'd state plainly.
- Before his axe was removed from his back and hurled forwards towards the group, slamming deep into the ground where they were all stood-- Easily evadable by all of them. But it was to make a point.
- Those more perceptive, would notice a rope of blood attached to Dornar's arm and the weapon. Which he pulled on, relocating him to his weapon.
- Removing it from the ground.
- "Too much standing around. Do something."
- (Dornar)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [13:37] Bastion says, "Mmmh."
- [13:38] Fast boi
- (Dornar)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [13:39] "Although we cannot kill them all...."
- Mana racing around his form in the form of wind.
- "We can still capture and rob them until true challenges come."
- The man would make his intent known for the party. Him not wanting to kill or capture, or main. His goal to improve, and he would do just that through this form here.
- No mo words, only action toward anyone that wasn't Mountain's...'kim'
- (Bastion)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [13:42] And so, an attack seems to begin.
- "Jeez..." Raisa sighs, the attack was easy to avoid, likely intended to be as such to make a statement to their fellow band. It seemed the intent was to be a robbery, to which she only offers a slight shake of her head.
- Hopping away from the attack, she skids to a halt a few feet back as a hand darts to her back, a whip unhooked from her back-side. "Do you guys really think I'd come out here with anything more than just the essentials? You can check my bag, I have just about no money on me."
- She was being entirely truthful, there was nothing on her besides the clothes on her back, five coins, and a random wisp floating about her person. "If you want an actual challenge you should move closer to Osrona, you'll find little at this bridge. Try the quarry south of here."
- If a fight were to begin regardless however she'll take part as needed. Ultimately however, she just didn't want to fight for the sake of not wasting hers and others time. But if one must be had, than she'll participate as necessary.
- (Raisa Tors)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [13:43] The large Rhoynish sighed, looking over at Uri with a nod. He knew far too many Osronians. Perhaps he shouldn't have tagged along. Cracking his neck, he'd step forward, Earth and wood surrounding his body. The confusion about to be laid to rest. "Aye, 'ello there, Uri... Unfortunate fer us t' cross paths at this time.", he scowled, grunting a bit. His eyes swapping between the groups.
- It was true, he was hesitant. At least one of these kids were kin of his. "Don' mistake me fer cowardice 'ere, lads, but the Sanctum will live 'ere. No' a request, I put me life on it.", he grunted, making sure all here heard him. With that, his fists would slam together, as he'd nod.
- "Other than tha'... We're 'ere on grounds a' takin' Osronian Knights 'r Nobles wit' us. An' given yer appearances, I wouldn' mind checkin' some pockets t' find out ifya fit tha'.", he would nod, raising a brow to look over the group.
- (Talmhainn Cruinne)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [13:49] Katherine's silver eyes watched as the axe flew from the unknown man's hand into the position that Alice's group had been standing moments before. The attack didn't seem like it was intended to hit, as it seemed to be used more for intimidation. Raising one of her fingers to her mouth and biting the manicured nail, Katherine would debate on standing from her chair. She still had no idea what was going on, but something in the back of her mind screamed 'robbery'.
- "Alice your friend sure likes aggressive games of tag." Katherine would joke, her voice resonating a chord of sympathy. "Back in Myllenoris these games only happen when you try to evade Greycloaks to raid the vale." Laughing at her own joke, Katherine's clone would suddenly imitate her boisterous laughter. In the corner of her eye, Katherine could see Alice's group ready their weapons as the group on the left followed suit.
- Standing from her illusory chair, the chair would immediately dissolve, alongside all of her illusory petals. Katherine was prepared to evade any attacks that came her way. Her 'toys' were likely to just get her injured if she continued to kid around.
- "Seeing weapons makes me feel a bit nervous everyone." Katherine would say, Eyeing Alice under the assumption she was capable of defending herself.
- (Katherine Sanct)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [13:50] Bastion says, "Its not locked off entirely"
- [13:53] Dornar says, "We are the bandits."
- [13:53] Dornar says, "I am the bandito"
- [13:57] "I'm not gonna' apologize for enjoyin' tha' build up, or not bein' mindless with my actions." Spoken as she remains in place, not moving a single inch. "Nor am' I gonna' pretend ta' be two dimensional. I'm a person. Not a carbon copy cardboard cut out."
- There is one among the group that catches her eye, but only one. The cadet, a member of the Order. Penelope's mouth comes to open wide, releasing the pipe nestled between her lips. Reaching for the hilt of her blade, before the apparatus strikes the ground.
- "I'm Penelope before I'm Rhoynish, Rhoynish, before a bandit. Be a cliché if ya' want. More than free ta' do so, but that...
- Ain't my style."
- No more words are shared as the blade is unsheathed, taking her sweet time. Slow, gentle steps towards the others. There are many present, and more soon to come. Regardless, there is nothing more than an aura of indifferent confidence that surrounds her.
- "Right. Open ya' bags. If I find any proof of ya' bein' part of tha' Order, ya' comin' with us." A lazy wave of the hand soon follows. "Simple as it is. Or, ya' can resist, an' make this....
- Interestin'."
- (Penelope Dayndros)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [13:59] Dinant Cortet says, "Yum yum."
- [13:59] Penelope gets a... Very empty bag, tossed at them.
- All that's in it is five coins.
- "Unless being broke is being apart of the Order than I should be fine. Last I checked, my friends are much the same way as far as affiliations go."
- Of course if that turned out to be untrue than she'll gladly fight all the same for them. But, the potential to avoid a fight was present and she'd rather walk away from this without having to hurt anybody or be hurt herself. It'd save them all time, and she can go back to doing more productive things besides handling common banditry on a seemingly popular bridge.
- (Raisa Tors)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [14:00] Uri would take a gaze at the people before him... As well as those who came to the bridge with him "This is my fault aint it?... I won't let everyone get injured because of a trip to get wind crystals.." He would pop his knuckles a bit.
- "This was wise, truly... The route most commonly used by everyone in Osrona," he would heed Inante's words... That if he wanted to be a vessel, a being that grants power to others, then he would have to be recognized as a guardian figure. Though, Uri did not prepare to fight for no reason, not even for that status. He did this because he might of been afraid, and who wouldn't be... The blood mist of a man there before him...
- The people beyond that point...And Cruinne who was one amongst the pack.. "Cruinne! If it's coin you want, then I'll give it to you! But not without a fight! You hear me?!"
- The flames around Uri would begin to engulf... A scenery of gold embers, a failed attempt to perfect his Phoenix Sanctus for this dire moment. "I am the Phoenix of Osrona, or at least. I damn will be..." Uri would then use his abilities with the cosmos to dash forward, spouting a rain of the stars to try and make an opening for Alice...Ebsern and Raisa...
- "I was paid to protect, and I'll do nothing less... Medic or not, I will fight," He spoke under his breath, charging after Cruinne as he felt betrayed and lied to... That the man wanted freedom amongst his people. How their races could co-exist, but Uri didn't realize he meant THIS!

- [14:02] Erehn whispers: H̷o̴w̶s̴ ̶l̸i̵f̸e̵?̸
- [14:02] Katherine hears the demand for people to open their bags. Casually pulling her satchel from beneath her long coat, she motions with her manicured hand for her clone to carry the bag towards Penelope. Inside the bag, there is only a few herbs, lesser animal hides, a bowl of stir fry, some raw meat cuts, and a lantern.
- "I was just gathered herbs." Katherine says with a shrug, still unsure if this is going to escalate further into full blown combat. The setting sun in the sky made Katherine's porcelain pale skin seem almost ghostly. Spreading her pink lips into a wry smile, Katherine was still unsure if she should dip her toes into the water or remain an observer.
- (Katherine Sanct)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [14:03] Making her way to the bridge after her conversation with Thalis and Cresentia she saw what seemed to be those of Ilburg.. and some of the people of Osrona. Of course it was bound to happen one way or another.
- "I'm assuming this to be some kind of situation.. so no one here is handing over any bags what so ever."
- Her eyes averted to Dornar.. she remembered him from her previous years. She wanted her payback for the last time they fought. If this would escalate which more or less it would. He would be the one she would target. That much was certain. Vengeance... Redemption? Either way she would put him down with her friends blade. In full. Eightfold.
- Her body flared up being consumed by fire. Eightfold now coated in a vibrant display of flames. She narrowed her eyes now fixed on Dornar.
- "You.., I hope you haven't forgotten me. Because I have not forgotten /you./"
- She spat.
- (Faira lei Sanctum)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [14:04] "They... aren't really my friends, Kat."
- She looks over at the large axe that smashes in front of her person.
- The gust of wind that blows from the impact is enough to cause her to take a step back. The intensity at which it moves in front of her is sudden. The thin line of blood that pulls him in front of her, too, is intimidating.
- This is exactly what happened before.
- She looks into her pocket. The crowns that had been so generously given, and earned, by her business- at the mercy of someone who'd be stronger than her. Things that she might think to say run through her mind. 'We're not with Osrona.' 'We have nothing on us.' 'There's no point in going.'
- There's a fury that swells in her.
- Alice had generated a bit of a losing streak. The truth was that she was sick of it. Her losses at the tournament. Her loss to Thalis. Her inability to help with the events that lead to her meeting Penelope in the first place, as well.
- It seems as though she'd lose here, as well.
- ... Until someone, particularly Uri- their resident Cadet- comes out of nowhere to charge after someone. Even if he was going to make an opening for her, she couldn't idly stand by. It wounded her pride.
- "If he's fighting, then what kind of person would I be if I let him sacrifice himself for me?"
- Her aura sparks up. She was a Huntsman. She refuses to go lying down!
- (Red Alice)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [14:07] Esbern sees Uri rush forwards, and knows that he can't just let him fight alone, nevermind let the bandits gang up on him. He'd had his chance to run but... esbern pulls out a rifle, instead of a sword, and aims it at Bastion.
- "Sorry, buddy, but it looks like I'll be keeping you busy."
- (Esbern Antioch)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [14:07] Nothing of not is spotted on Raisa, and thus, the bag of five coins is gladly taken. Might as well make some use of the time spent here. To her left, it seems the Mountain has her challenger, and before her? Seems one is familiar with the Black Bandit.
- "Right. Ya' good. Next."
- …
- "Nah. I'm goin' through stuff. Only way I can confirm if someone ain't hidin' their rank." That unsheathed blade is coated in an faint aura of crimson lifeblood.
- (Penelope Dayndros)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [14:12] The large, mountainous man sighs. This was all becoming an annoyance. His skin hardened as Uri announced their Will to fight. He expected nothing less of the lad. Scowling harshly to them as their fires ignited. He would not move for the time being, simply bracing himself for the attack to come, all the while deciding if he should even explain himself to the teen. Would they understand, in this time of war and conflict. He would just have to put out their fires, like he had done in the past, before trying to get them to listen.
- In the meantime, he would get some good training in, a good excuse to practice his fighting style, now that it had adapted some. The hole in his torso making him wince. It hadn't been healed yet. Another annoyance, but one he could ignore.
- "The Phoenix a' Osrona, eh?... Proud a' ya fer comin' so far, lil' Sanctum.", he would smirk, his arms becoming covered in steel hued bark, arms and body creaking as it hardened to heights the lad likely had yet to of seen. He would have to apologize later, for his actions, to the Sanctums.
- (Talmhainn Cruinne)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [14:16] Uri Sanctum exclaims, "Dammit!"
- [14:16] Talmhainn Cruinne says, "My body is harder now, lil Sanctum."
- [14:16] Uri Sanctum exclaims, "Then I'll burn hotter!"
- [14:16] Talmhainn Cruinne says, "Ya canno' break the mountain."
- [14:19] Uri Sanctum asks, "Is this what you meant by freedom Cruinne?"
- [14:19] Talmhainn Cruinne says, "No' Quite, lad."
- [14:19] Uri Sanctum says, "Then show me."
- [14:21] {Won Dangerous RPB against Talmhainn Cruinne}
- [14:21] ** Uri Sanctum has inflicted an injury upon Talmhainn Cruinne. ("Permanent Injury", "Permanent Injury", "Permanent", "Severity: MODERATE (-10 Vit)") **
- [14:32] As Uri would dash forth, the fight was one that brought the both of them down to the brink. At this point it was a matter of who would draw their guns first... Who would strike at the opportune moment and who would take the fall...
- It was an even match of wits against strength and durability... Speed and Fire against that of a mountain. Their battle would leave the forest burning at last for a while as the stars would continue to bless Uri with their light.
- Uri was losing badly at first, but, he came around, an underdog type move as the energies of the Phoenix did not grant him power but the clarity to think... So as the fight carried on, Uri caught onto the methods of the unarmed, one ability he did not pick up despite its usefulness, the Iron fist. "Of course!" and at that moment, he would fight around such an ability as he was brought down in health as well...
- Blow to blow, their attacks were exchanged until finally...Once his fire stream had come to an end... Uri would almost teleport up towards his opponent in outrageous speeds with flames trailing behind him. Delivering a weighted punch to the center of Talmhainn' Cruinne's chest with the energy of his golden flames pouring into the wound... It was a mercy shot, a love tap between the two as Uri did not dismiss his actions... But he would forgive for he knew, that Cruinne did not want to cross paths this way... "Let beauty come out of ashes..."
- The Climax of their battle... Fist of The Phoenix... Uri Emerges Victorious.
- (Uri Sanctum)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [14:46] The large man, the Cruinne, The Mountain, would find his rocks waning. The hole in his torso aching him in inopportune times. He refused to go down, to buckle. To let his rock break. But just as it was with the Sand Golem, when it came down to it, he broke. His Iron defense melted, and broken, and pierced. All of his training, coming up for naught, as the youth continued to crack him open.
- Strikes exchanged, and though the mountainous Rhoynish was fierce, though he was strong, the teen was faster, and had that same cursed power of the stars, aided in flames. He had believed himself to finally of found a way to harden beyond the heat, beyond what could be thrown at him. But even now, just as with the Sand Golem, his mountain had been broken.
- A strike to his chest, in the midst of fire and flames, one that struck deep on scarred tissue, and one that sapped the very life from him. It brought him to kneel, grunting as his arm clutched at his body. Another permanent scar to remind him of his failures. But this one, at least, had a silver lining to it.
- A bit of blood was spat up, rocks crumbling away from the man's skin as he would look at Uri with a soft smile.
- "Aye, lad... Freedom, comes from strength. From the Will t' Continue on. Ya've found, yer freedom. An', I've los' me own.", he chuckled briefly, before passing out on the ground, a smirk on his face. It would seem his old student, had finally broken the mountain.
- (Talmhainn Cruinne)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [14:53] Scarlett sighs a bit.
- (Scarlett Kurokaiyo)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [14:55] There it was... His welcoming ceremony, into a true man's world... Mandom, that's what this was. A place dominated by strength in order to obtain freedom... A Kingdom, one he swore to protect, and fellowship, an ideal he went by as he would gather many allies from beyond the wall and here, he would have to observe a mentor, his teacher. A man who would test his strength on occasions, his largest obstacle before becoming a man himself. A mountain, brought down by the talons of the Phoenix and crushed.
- But... It was as that saying goes. The tears of a phoenix, would mend the wounds of those who were near... And so, Uri would try to use the last of his strength in order to pick the Cruinne up, carrying him in his arms as the body of a great mountain man would go limp... Maybe his arms hanging down the side, but here, Uri would approach the bridge with a decision in mind...
- Uri knew that they might have someone that he values captured, and so... He would make an offer, if push comes to shove.... "Let my people go..." He says with Cruinne in his arms... "I have more than what you could've hoped for when you decided to ambush us... So, let my companions go and, it's all yours... All 2,000 Coin..." Uri had no time to mend the wounds of Cruinne, not like these bandits would allow it... But, he came to bargain and bargain he did...
- (Uri Sanctum)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [15:07] As her bout with the kitsune comes to an end, the Rhoynish woman's attention averts to the conflicts surrounding her. Attentions now upon Uri. While the offer is one she could respect, it simply isn't one she's capable of making.
- For, it is the entire reason as to why she decided to show up.
- "Made more than enough deals with ya' kinda' people to know, that it never works out." Regardless, there is a mountain, and not one she was willing to lose. Blade drawn, there is an attempt to separate the Phoenix and the mountain.
- Rushing between them. Much as she wanted to fight, she knows the most she could potentially do within the moment is take the fallen by force is she must, and retreat.
- (Penelope Dayndros)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [15:13] August lux Solenne says, "Hm.."
- [15:13] August lux Solenne asks, "Interesting bunch we have here. To what do I owe the honor?"
- [15:17] The Infernal Radiant arrived with a questionable expression.
- Why was it always this bridge that had to stir trouble? Couldn't he just relax. First a glance was offered to Mars and Basil, a soft smile behind that mask -- surely they hated him.
- Then towards Penelope. Who was she? Who were any of they? He recognized Dornar but.. a shrug. They were noted as bandits.
- There was a fire in his step and his glare as he set eyes upon them.
- "Can I be of assistance?"
- He spoke plainly, bluntly -- and by his demeanor it was obvious that if they were there to wreak chaos they would surely regret it.
- (August lux Solenne)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [15:17] Uri took a moment to observe the situation at hand... And as he would see Penelope approach him... Uri would smirk, as he gives Cruinne one final look. "Suit yourself~" He would toss Cruinne towards Penelope as he saw no reason to continue fighting. "I would've honestly given you the 2,000 to stop this mess... To end the fighting immediately.." These were Uri's words towards the lot of them.
- "But... Now all of Osrona knows you're here..." Depending on if Penelope would capture Cruinne or not... Uri would whisper.. "Get well...Cruinne… I forgive you.."
- He continued to observe this situation, and scout for Raisa, Alice and Esbern while a few familiar faces would arrive to the scene... His sister August lux and a few others... What Uri did was no power move. He saw absolutely NO purpose in capturing Cruinne when most or all of the people from his side went free... "As I said... Let my people go... Because all of Osrona now knows you're here..." He waits for a response for this... Refering to the arrival of August Lux and Faira.
