"DO YOU REMEMBER THAT POSTER? YEAH! THE ONE THAT TOLD YOU NOT TO LET THE THINGIES BREAK?"

<Player Nod>: "WELL YOU BROKE IT."

<Player Headshake>: "THE CYLINDER THINGIES? YEAH AT ANY RATE YOU BROKE IT!"

<Player Nothing>: "I ask because, you know, YOU BROKE THE THINGIES!"

[The controller's portal torus collapses in on itself. The controller flickers in and out of being a standard vive controller, a banana, a hand model from Job Simulator, and the game's own controller. The player automatically lets go of the controller, defaulting to the hand. The controller shakes uncontrollably as it floats in mid-air, and finally collapses into a point of bright light.]

"THAT WAS OUR LAST CONTROLLER! OUR LAST HOPE!"

[Text flicker on glove reads "FAILURE." The point of bright light begins emitting steam out into the room. Literally. The point grows outward until it becomes the default Steam VR U.I., but your hand remains instead of the default VR controller. You can still walk around the room.]

"Where... where in the Lord's name are we?"

"It's just an empty room! This looks unreal!"
