- Dro Gunder is a medium-small city built around its steel mills that process ore from the mountains to the south and the northern continent. The city has many factories and foundries that pour thick columns of smoke into the sky. The city is pretty dirty, bits of trash, dirt, mud, standing water, etc. in the streets.
- Aemon Grett is a priest of black fingers running Ink-Eyes operations between Hzjrkrgrndr and Trovain. He lives in a mansion near the Big Eye Ore Refinery. He has an office in one of the factories. He's a nervous and somewhat paranoid man, he locks doors behind himself, surrounds himself with various defenses. He is especially nervous about a visit from his new boss, who has extremely high standards and is known for being particularly unkind when upset. If cornered by the players he will do anything to avoid a direct fight, explaining his position, etc. Despite having the climbed the ladder in Ink-Eye's organization to become a priest of black fingers, he did this primarily through his skill at managing operations such as this. If given no other choice, he has various spells and some gadgets at his disposal to try and aid an escape. As a priest, he is under less scrutiny from Ink-Eyes herself, so short of revealing secrets about Ink-Eyes ultimate goals he is more free to divulge information.
- Aemon's office has detailed ledgers on all of the transactions he has overseen, charts and diagrams of various processes, etc. However, due to his paranoia they are all heavily encoded. It would take a master cryptographer to decode them if the players cannot get Aemon's aid.
- Aemon has prepared several contingencies, especially around Olin. He knows Olin by sight, some of his accomplishments, and some of his friends and family by name. He will tell the party that if operations here are disrupted or if he is killed that Olin's mother will meet a similar fate. He will warn the party as well that when his boss comes around, if anything is wrong he's likely to be *very* upset. Aemon is clearly afraid of him and he'll the party that this guy does not mess around, if they come face to face with him, they will not survive.
- If the group tries to listen in on anything in the foundry, they might hear workers talking about "Aemon said the boss was in town" and general remarks from them about how they find "the boss" unsettling, and how there is some tension between Aemon and "the boss", he has some jealousy that a newer member is above him, someone he doesn't know anything about.
- Ink-Eyes operations are tied heavily to a foundry owned by Brogg's company- Big Eye Industries.
