  1. -----
  2. A POEM WRITTEN SPECIALLY FOR BOB, ABOUT BOB:
  3. (typography corrected)
  4. -----
  5.
  6. There once was a scholar named Zhvirblis,
  7. Who proclaimed that the Phantom's not serious:
  8. He just couldn't perceive that magnificient weave,
  9. The topology which makes us delirious.
  10.
  11. In hindsight, he realized his err,
  12. And reprised in despair, a repair.
  13. But he was too late, they had fled from the gate,
  14. He wanted to reach them, but where?
  15.
  16. Then along came a maverick named Bob,
  17. Who took up 'The Great Work', as a job.
  18. He said, "It's all donuts", fundamental components,
  19. "Even those string-vortex kebabs".
  20.
  21. But Bob's research wasn't yet done,
  22. Transmutation is where his mind spun.
  23. To spin lead into gold, like for Pharaohs of old,
  24. He proclaimed, "The Old Age has begun."
  25.
  26. And then came a self-styled wizard,
  27. Who asked Bob where their viewpoints differed.
  28. Bob said, "I'll be in touch, but im not in a rush",
  29. "And thanks for the insights considered".
  30.
  31. Wizards, you know, are quite wise.
  32. For decades, they've studied the lies.
  33. They're a gateway to truth, if you know how to sleuth.
  34. To your research, my research applies.
  35.
  36. So the Wizard prepare-ed his spell,
  37. For Bob, whom we wanted to tell,
  38. There's one piece of the puzzle you haven't yet uttered,
  39. It's the place from where consciousness dwells.
  40.
  41. Science discarded the aether,
  42. As no one could map her, or see her.
  43. It's because Kali's her name, and we live in her brain,
  44. And brain-waves are intrinsic, not features.
  45.
  46. Carl Jung also reckoned this notion,
  47. That the world was a dream, and we're tokens,
  48. That narrative's real, and based on what you feel,
  49. And her language is that of emotion.
  50.
  51. So I say Bob, one key that you're missing,
  52. And a truth that you may be dismissing,
  53. Is the consciousness prime, and that Kali birthed time,
  54. And counterspace is awareness, abridging.
  55.
  56. So know now that souls aren't machines,
  57. They're antennas, which pick up her dreams,
  58. Your mind's made in her image, a toroidal visage,
  59. Of counterspace, transformed & unseen.
  60.
  61. (And it's also the shape of your genes!)
  62.
  63. So if and when your methods falter,
  64. I'm proposing a strategy altered:
  65. Remember that Kali is known to rally,
  66. Where emotions and senses do call her.
  67.
  68. In closing, since time immemorial,
  69. Messiahs & saviors have shown her:
  70. His Kingdom's within you; Her counterspace spins you.
  71. It's consiousness that is the primordial.
  72.
  73. ~ A Wizard's Tale, for Bobbo Baggins, corrected.
