Light and dark must always be in balance, and there was the avatar of light, and the avatar of darkness. Kaios were born from light, where Demons were born from the dark. They rarely fought, if at all, but one day, the balance just... shifted. The dark suddenly began to grow at an astounding rate, the primordial chaos of the universe begging to be filled in, growing completely out of control. It just grew and grew, until the power of the dark half became too great. They fought, and I gave up every bit of power I had to seal up the dark half away and create the universes now known as the Living Realm. However, in the Shinjin tree, the tree where all Kaio and Demons are born, a seed was planted within, incubating for several billion years and building up. This is how the light and dark remained balanced- although the dark was inactive for all this time. I returned to the Origin after the creation of your universe, and slept. I never ended up recovering fully.. and then Caziel was born from the tree, so I decided to step in. Unfortunately my last vessel, Abel, died, so I had to take the form of a new Kaio, who was Steven. And here we are today.
