//Registration
Join the N1 Grand Prix discord at http://discord.n1gp.net. If registration is open, do !join <Netbattler Name> and your registration will be confirmed.  When you are ready to submit your setup, please do so at https://forms.gle/Lha65G2rDEq3ykg2A.  You do not have to provide scheduling availability like NEW MOON.

To be eligble for the Cash Prize, you must also join the event at https://matcherino.com/tournaments/11172/overview after registering for a Matcherino account. If you are not registered and signed up on Matcherino as well YOU WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR A PAY OUT.

//Format and Administration
- This tournament will be in Swiss format, 6 rounds (Each round is a Triple Battle - Best of 3) with a cut to Top 8 Single Elimination.
- ==!=NEW=!== Link Timeouts in VBA Link MUST be set to 5000.
- ==!=NEW=!== Setups are made public for this event. Changes will not be processed after the Submission Deadline.
- If you are not present for your match 5 minutes after the round starts, you will receive a round loss 0-2.
- If you are not present for two consecutive rounds, you will be dropped from the event.
- Matches in Swiss adhere to a 1 hour maximum time limit.

- Use of cheats, glitches, 3rd Party Programs (Such as Auto-Hotkeys) or exploits, no matter what the nature, will result in an instant disqualification.
- If your connection causes you to push the time limit consistently (More than 2 rounds) to the point of unnecessarily delaying the event, you will be dropped from the event. Please ensure you are setting up an ideal network environment for PVP before the event.
- Multiple desyncs with different people will be reviewed by tournament staff and may result in disqualification at administration's discretion. Manipulating desyncs will not be tolerated.
- ==!=NEW=!== In the event of a desync, both players must submit a screenshot of the game state BEFORE closing VBA.
- Feel free to use the !hostflip command (Or !hostflip @user) to determine which party hosts.
 - You must submit your setup to a Tournament Organizer. Registrations without submissions will be dropped.
- ==!=NEW=!== In the event of a the cut to Top 8, the player who won their match during Swiss will advance. For instance, if Neryth and Salad are tied for 8th, and Neryth beat Salad during swiss, Neryth would advance in the 8th slot.

For information on netbattling, including the procedure to get VBA Link set up and to learn how to connect as a client and a host, please join the N1 Grand Prix Discord and use the !welcome command.

A Save File at 100% (All obtainable HP Memories and Regular Memories) with copies of all chips will be provided to all participants to build a folder and set up NaviCust. For legal reasons, the N1 Grand Prix cannot provide the ROMs.

Participants must record their match with VBA's built-in Recording feature. (Tools > Record > Start AVI Recording) and submit to the Tournament Organizer for verification.

Desyncs and unforseen glitches (EX. Starting Round 2 in Exhaustion, Disappearing chips) will result in a rematch. Multiple or continued desyncs may result in disqualification.

Desyncs that occur will be reviewed by tournament staff and recordings for the desync matches must be submitted in addition to your normal full matches. Multiple desyncs during the event may result in your disqualification in the event or rendering you ineligible for obtaining a payout prize.

All participants must adhere to the Banned/Restricted Chip List. Chips that are unobtainable in your version (or unobtainable at all) cannot be used in your folder 1 & 2. While we know that Gold Mystery Data has a chance of giving the chips to you, for the sake of the tournament it's not going to be allowed.

//Matcherino and Prize Payout Details
This event will feature a 50/30/20 payout structure.  The winner in 1st place will obtain 50% of the total prize pool, 2nd place will obtain 30%, and third place will obtain 20%. In the event of a tie in third place, both 3rd place people will obtain 10%.

In order to be eligible for payout, you must register for a Matcherino account and click JOIN TOURNAMENT on the Matcherino page at https://matcherino.com/tournaments/11172/overview. If you are not registered for the Matcherino campaign, you cannot get a pay out!!
