Can you please link the rules and tell us what you think is good or bad about them. https://www.nopixel.net/upload/index.php?threads/nopixel-official-rules-guidelines.104748/ I think the NLR Rule as well as the use of /me are great; anything that helps add to the RP experience and bring a fresh take to it is a great addition. I don't really disagree with any of the rules at all, they all serve their purpose and an RP server without proper guidelines would just be chaos.
What is your definition of roleplay? Roleplaying is the act of playing out a character or situation to achieve a goal. Whether that be provide entertainment, make someone laugh, or just have a good time yourself is up to you. I personally love the idea of roleplaying because it gives me an outlet to experiment with different personas and have some good old fashioned fun with other interesting characters.
What type of characters have you roleplayed before? I used to do acting improv in highschool so I've roleplayed anything from a depressed clown to a business man so scared for a job interview that he's having a meltdown in the office waiting room.
What type of characters do you intend to roleplay? I was planning on roleplaying a retired ESports professional who lost his career and all his money because of a past drug/alcohol addiction and is trying to find purpose and direction in his life. Whether he chooses to lead a noble life or his life turns to crime and disorder depends on the people he meets and how they influence him.
What are your character positives and negative characteristics? My character would be reserved and laconic but very loyal. He compares everyone in his friends circle to his old teammates and would do anything he can to help them out. However, due to my character's successful career and attitude, he wasn't able to have normal friendships with others outside of his team without being treated as a celebrity and they would eventually try to use him for his money, leading to major trust issues. This made him turn to an excessive partying lifestyle to cover his loneliness and eventually his forced retirement by his team's owners.
When do you feel is a good time to break character? Never. The whole point of the server and experience is to play out a characters life no matter the situation so breaking character is a big faux pas.

What are your plans for your first day in Los Santos? I've always spent my days in this constant cycle of gaming, eating, working out, and sleeping; I can't tell how much time I've wasted just being inside. I think I'm just going to explore the city: check out the major sightseeing locations, meet some of the locals, and definitely search for a job. I'm so low on cash I don't know how I'm going to find a place to live.
The cops have pulled you over in a case of mistaken identity. What do you do? How is this even possible??? I've never even been to Vespucci Beach let alone pissed on a homeless person. I've got enough shit on my plate trying to find a job and a new place without this crap you "officers" are trying to force on me. Just let me go on my way and we'll have no problems.
You are robbing a store. Inside the store is the owner and a civilian. Both individuals are begging you not to rob or hurt them. How would you roleplay this situation and what actions would you take? GET ON THE FUCKING GROUND AND PUT YOUR HANDS BEHIND YOUR HEAD. You have no idea how badly I need this money and I'll do anything to make sure nothing gets in my way. So stay the fuck on the ground and keep your mouths shut or you'll see how desperate I am. If either of you moves as much as an inch, I swear I'll replace your teeth with lead.
A stranger comes up to you and says he needs another person for a “big job” in town. How do you react and what do you do? I don't know man, I'm trying to go clean and get my life on track and now a stranger comes up to me saying he has an opportunity for me to make some good cash. How am I supposed to trust you and believe I'm not just some pawn you'll discard when my purpose is done? If you can prove you're trust worthy and I find out more details about this job, I could be persuaded.
You are repairing your car and someone pulls up behind you with their gun drawn. They tell you to drop you stuff and handover your keys. What would you say and do in this situation? Please, you don't need to do this. I just bought this car man, I haven't even payed the first installment. I'll give you anything else I have on me, just not the car.
You have been involved in a crime with a group of known individuals; the officer offers you less time if you give up information on your group members; what would you do / how would you react? I don't know what you're talking about officers, I don't know the names of any of my associates. They offered me this job on the basis that we wouldn't share personal information and even if I had any info, I wouldn't share it with some fucking pigs. Just finish processing me and we'll both save a lot of time.
You’ve found what looks like a random car in the street with a load of drugs inside. What do you do and why? Fuck, I said I'd stay away from this shit but it wouldn't be here without a reason right? I sure as hell need the money but FUCK I PROMISED I wouldn't go near this garbage anymore. I'll just take an ounce and they won't notice, right? This is the last time, I swear...
It’s just another day for you as a tow truck driver. You roll up to a job, only to see the person who called you, is holding an EMS hostage. The driver seems erratic and volatile. What do you do? Fuuuuuck this shit man, you're fucking crazy. I'm a simple man trying to do a simple job, just let me leave and we won't have any problems. I'll just pretend I didn't see anything and I'll be on my way.
You’ve gotten yourself into a situation – you owe a gang $5000 which you must pay back within a few hours. What could be a legal way to get this money in a pinch? The bank will give me a loan right? If I use my car as collateral and claim I want to start an online business they'd have to give it to me, right?
You've been selling drugs on another gangs turf and they find you. How would your character react to this and deal with the situation? You think you can intimidate me? You do anything and my associates will return it three fold and you know that's not an empty threat. Unless you want to start a turf war I advise you to just let me walk away and it won't happen again.
