Chapter 1: Summoning of the hero and the previous hero

What is a Hero?* If you were suddenly asked that, will you be able to answer?

You wouldn’t be able to, as you don’t understand.
But I somehow do.

For the mean time answering “ha?” is the best response.

After all, to be suddenly just got asked like that.

“A hero’s the one that’s on a popular RPG game circulating in japan, which also has been getting famous on web novels recently.”
But to say that with a straight face, is pretty hilarious.

Eitherway let’s change the question:


Do you want to be a Hero?


Well?.... who wouldn’t?



But me on the other hand, humbly refuse. I’m never going to become a hero again.

Atleast that’s what I thought at first.

The noble looking girl in a red dress bowed down deeply, which made me lower my head too.

The Imperial knights behind the girl seemed to be on their knees with their head lowered to the ground.

The old men inline in the big room in an outlandish fashion was also on their knees and staring at the man intently.

Tear’s flowed in her jade coloured eye. She was shaking which made her elegant golden hair sway elegantly.

The man was dumbfounded.

He was dumbfounded not because he suddenly got enveloped by bright light on his way home along with his friends, then find himself time-slipped in the Middle Age and see a room with people around him wearing weird outfits.
It’s definitely not that.
He was dumbfounded because there’s a girl crying in front of him.


“Yes, I will do it”

I saw him nodding in agreement.


On that very day Amagi Kaito, a Hero, was born.

The gallant handsome hero Yashiro Yuu, muttered.


"Also, we are in a different world...."

Leaking a dry laugh. His expression is covered in despair.
