Regarding the topic of Roads

Caspian mentioned that there are basically no tools other than go out and build the road.

If I misunderstood this, please correct me.

If this is Correct, I would like to attempt to Lobby SBS to create a Tool for roads/management.

Roads will be sold in the EP store but Who can buy the roads? Will these be only for Settlement owners? How will road Permissions be granted? Can anybody that has expo access just up and buy some roads, go anywhere in the county and just start placing roads?

I would like to Get SBS to think about how potentially disruptive this could be as a minor issue but how the Management of roads in ones county or Duchy could become more of a Major issue.

True without knowing how the road system will work out, I think a lot of us can agree that the implementation of A LOT of roads in our regions just simply dont make sense with jagged turns, no connections where its perceived they should have connected , etc.

I would like to see a County/Duchy Road Tool be implemented to allow for the rights to lay roads so that they can be in accordance with a grander scale. This tool would allow the count/duke to play Connect the Dots so to speak and then a proposed path gets created from point a to point b. This can then be approved/adjusted by the count/duke as a project to be executed. This could be the same for New/Upgrade/Dismantling of existing roads. I would also like to see the inclusion of NPC Contracts to build roads utilizing the EP Store Road Kits so that a Player isn't consigned to lay all the roads. Setting up a crew specifically takes to work on roads based on the project created.

For any road initiative to be fully approved, any land owners that this impacts would need to sign off. For example, A duke proposes a road that crosses thru several counties, This would need the approvals of both the counts/mayors that the roads would interact with.

Considering the Road kits were stated to be 32 meter lengths, I cant imagine one person walking around with a bunch of road kits and or resources just for roads doing nothing but that at and after expo.

And if at all possible, id like to see something before expo or during expo that gives us an idea of how far so we can plan on an appropriate number of Road kits from the EP store rather than not buying enough and coming up short.

Sorry for the long post, just wanted to toss the idea out and get a feel for any other thoughts on how roads and management should be handled.
