- This is a simple glossary of common terms used when referring to the gameplay of Kuradoberi Jam in Guilty Gear. Note that this will not cover common universal terms. For a more complete glossary of those terms, refer to the Dustloop wiki: http://www.dustloop.com/wiki/index.php/Notation
- Card/Charge - Refers to 22K/S/H (Morning Calm's Breath) series of special moves. Also refers to the stock charged when the special move is performed.
- Charged (kick) - Refers to the enhanced 236K, 214K, and 623K performed when the appropriate stock is charged.
- Ryu/Ryujin/Dragon Kick - 236K (Ryujin) special move. TK Ryu/Ryujin/Dragon Kick refers to the special when Tiger Knee'd.
- Geki/Gekirin/Axe Kick - 214K (Gekirin) special move.
- Kenrou/Kenroukaku/DP - 623K (Kenroukaku) special move.
- IAD (kick) - Refers to 236K, 214K, and 623K performed during the momentum of an airdash, giving them special properties (i.e. moving down).
- Max Card/Charge - Refers to 22K/S/H (Morning Calm's Breath) series of special moves when charged to the highest level of 3 stocks.
- Max Charged (kick) - Refers to the enhanced 236K, 214K, and 623K performed when the appropriate max stock is charged.
- Parry - 46 (Hochifu) special move. Refers to the special move itself and the act of catching an opponent's attack with the special move.
- Dash/Command Dash - Commonly refers to the standard run, but can refer to 236S (Bakushuu) special.
- Pass-through/Slidethrough/Sway - Refers to the 236S~P (Mawarikomi) special move.
- Splitkicks/Ashibarai - Refers to the 236S~K (Ashibarai) special move.
- Kara (kick) - Refers to any one of 236K, 214K, or 623K being performed out of 236S~K before 236S~K has entered active frames.
- Puffball - 236S~S (Hyappo Shinshou) and 236S~H (Senri Shinshou). Refers to both versions, can be specified with "S Puffball", "H Puffball". "Crossup Puffball" refers to 236S~H when the move passes through the opponent.
- Bao - Refers to 236236H (Bao: Saishenhou) super move.
- Clean Hit - Refers to the third hit of the 236236H~P (Bao: Saishenhou, Kaorinkuen) followup, performed with the P is input with appropriate timing.
- Chokyaku/Phoenix - Refers to 632146S (Chokyaku Houoshou) super move.
- Super Puffball - Refers to 632146H (Renhoukyaku) super move.
