Power Armour vs Ork Plasma

Shrike gave the signal, and the three Space Marines burst into the room, bolt pistols flaring as they let loose on the guards. Two of the orks, caught suddenly unaware, howled in pain as they dropped, while the others returned fire, hot plasma spurting from the glowing mouths of their weapons.
Shrike kept his back to the wall, muzzle flare under-lighting his beaked helm. He hunched his shoulders, tracking the movements of the enemy, twisting from the waist as he targeted first one, then another, then a third. His armour was pitted and dripping with scolding plasma, but he continued to pace around the edges of the room, felling ork after ork, while his brothers did the same.
