what is no shop cards?

Q1 what does 0 gem term mean?
A1 it means cards you can obtain without spending any in the in game currency (gems)
Q2 What are shop cards?
A2 Cards you can obtain by using gems or real world money with micro transactions to purchase in the yu-gi-oh! duel links video game
Q3 Why cannot use a card why was my deck declined for entry?
A3 it either didn't follow the banlist or didn't follow the 0 gem (no shop cards) requirement.
Q4: how do i check if my cards are 0 gem cards?
A4 i know it's a pain but each card in the catelog or deck builder has a how to obtain thing you just click or tap that to see how to obtain it. this is rarely but sometimes messy (in the alexa cup i won by technicality) i want to avoid these kinda issues so if it says it's from a box or event check the "duel links meta website to verify an card's origin.
Q5 why even make a format this stupid?
A5 i wanted others to have fun without using the card shop and dream tickets to prove as players we can be creative despite the bad card pool in this list.

Rules for the 0 Gem Tournament

Free cards only. That means:
-No cards from boxes/selection boxes
-No cards from structure decks/ex structure decks
-No cards from special deals in the shop

You can use:
-Cards from tickets (except for dream tickets)
-Level up reward cards
-Cards from the card trader
-Rewards for beating Characters at the Gate
-Event reward cards
-Cards from missions

On the Duel Links Meta website you can filter cards by Free. All cards under that filter are good to go

Your deck must also follow the banlist above. It works like the Duel Links banlist. That means you are only allowed to play 3 cards limited to 3, 2 limited to 2 etc.

You are allowed to use 2 decks. You can only change your deck after you lost a duel.

To verify that your deck follows the rules you will have to send your decklist to either me or GZ before the tournament.
