  1. Saajid el-Rasheed was born in the Bronx in the year of 1989 to parents Fahid and Fatima El Rasheed For most of his life, he spent it living on 7th street for most of his early childhood, running around on his own. Unfortuantely, his father was terrorized tremendously by the Bronx Police Department due to them being from Syria, as 9/11 changed how Americans percieved Middle Eastern people,as One day when Raashid was coming back home, he heard his mother screaming "He's dead!!" He's Dead!, his father dying when Raashid was at a very young age. No one really knew who was behind the murder, but Saajid blamed the law enforcement anyways. They terrorized the small Middle Eastern community, and weren't there to stop what had happened. Raashid grew a large amount of hatred for law enforcement in general, having a biased opinion about them due to these circumstances. Saajid el-Rasheed fathers murder case was dropped due to lack of evidence to convict anyone suspected in the murder of his father. His mother Fatima , fell into a depression, Saajid el-Rasheed saw it all in the hood, murders, kidnappings, you name it. It wasn't just the law enforcement who had an intense hate for the Middle Eastern community, it was it's own surrounding community. At the time, small unorganized cliques of Syrian American gangs were formed and spread out across the city, dominant in his neighbourhood by the time he was in his teens, forming to protect their community. El Rasheed had cousins in these gangs El Rasheed hung out with them frequently, as they were literally on his block. He was initated eventually in the early 2000s and participated in gang warfare against enemy gangs, as murders were at an all time high at the time. He gained the respect of his peers and completely changed his personality, going from a smart kid to someone who was completely different, angry and ignorant. He sold drugs, caught a few bodies in his youth. He had no father figure, and the only potential father figure he had was the gangs OG, Peter el-Baksh, being very close with from his early childhood, and the main figure who slowly pushed him to join the faction. El Rasheed was a loyal soldier through his adolescence to the gangs. He was el-Baksh's top enforcer at the time, El Baksh favoring him over others in the gang, eventually causing a large amount of animosity in the group. There was an attempt on Rasheeds life in 2003, Rasheed suffering a bullet wound in the shoulder, and a coup to kill El Baksh. El Baksh and his faction brutually wiped out the faction that was attempting to coup, a vicious gang war. Many innocents were killed during the gang war. Saajid El Rasheed was at the top with El Baksh, saving his OG's life many times. His OG was satisfied with how he acted during the war, El Rasheed assuming a leadership role at the time, keeping their clique in check. He was El Baksh's strongest link up until El Baksh was killed in a driveby shooting by the time El Rasheed was eighteen. El Rasheed took his OG position, and was respected within his neighbourhood. He ruled the small gang and kept everyone eating, and established contacts with many figures within the city. His small clique was strong, and eventually became allies with Syrian Power, them working together, but not exactly the same since their gang was older. El Rasheed loved his people, but he also grew a stronger love for money. He used his contacts to straw purchase illegal firearms for the low, dishing them out to youngings for a higher price, and kept doing this business. He had contacts for drugs as well, getting marijuana from a source up in Upstate New York, an illegal grow op. He mainly deals to the newer Syrian Power gang, since they are allies today, and he's the OG.
