VELB PASTE1

The valley elderberry longhorn beetle, or VELB for short, is a federally threatened beetle native from Redding to Bakersfield in the central valley of California, where it breeds exclusively in two species of riparian elderberry plants, both of which are found at the outer edge of riparian vegetation zones.
