Savior to the Gnomes

Step 1: Kill finks for the widgets they drop. Take the widgets to
Crankey who will repair the portal. Once the portal is repaired, you
need to grab the skein of fine thread ( path find 224 ). Once you have
this, proceed to the portal ( path find 272 ), PULL the LEVER. Wait for
the portal to open then enter portal.

Step 2: You need to PULL REEDS in order to obtain some reeds (can be
found all around the lake so just look around until you find them). Now
you need to find Chanterelle ( path find 575 ). Give her the skein and
she will give you a book in return. Give her the reeds and she will give
a pair of glassblade gloves.

Step 3: Head back to the portal you opened, it should still be open from

when you opened it before (path find 33). Enter the portal and look for
the hidden librarian gnome (path find 225 ). He will give you a
machinery scroll in return. Now you need to go back to the portal which
should still be open ( path find 272 ). Now you are ready.

Step 4: Head to Smoke Mountains ( path find 643, east, east, up, up, up,
east, and in ). Wear your gloves and start hunting the rock hogu0092s.
They will a drop black stone which you need. Collect 6 or more of these.
Once you have the amount needed you need to find a lava pool ( path find
696 ). PUT the STONE in the lava POOL, and you will notice that it
changes into a crystal. Once you see this you will want to TAKE the
CRYSTAL from the lava POOl.

Step 5: now that you have all the crystals you need, it is time to visit
to the Queen Ant ( path find 719 ). If you give her one of the crystals
that you just obtained she will grant you passage to the top of the
Smoke Mountains. This is where you machinery scroll comes in handy. Find
Maisey the Mechanic ( path find 782 ) and give her the scroll. She will
look over it and in turn give you a note and tells you to take it to the
Weaponsmith.

Step 6: Molly the Weaponsmith ( path find 791 ) will take the note then
ask you for five crystals to help power the catapults. You should have
the required crystals from earlier, so give them to her. She will
combine them into a cluster but they need to be empowered before they
are of any use. King Newtonson is just the man for the job ( path find
802 ).

Step 7: Bring the cluster Molly gave you and GIVE the CLUSTER to the
KING, he in turn will give you scepter stating that it can only be
powered by the tears of a true queen. You need to head back down to
Lolliprin in order to achieve this task ( path find 765, down u0096 you
will find yourself at the base of Smoke Mountain).

Step 8: Now that you are back in Lolliprin you need to find a bouquet of
flowers and an emerald snake ( path find 632 ). You will have to kill
the snake before you can take the flowers, so you will get both items at
the same time. Now that you have these, you first need to speak to King
Bolete who wants a rose for his queen, give him the bouquet of flowers.
He will tie a tag to the flowers and ask for you to deliver them to his

Step 9: Now, you need to go to Queen Morel ( path find 568 ), give her
the flowers. She will be quite happy to have the flowers from her king
seeing it as a sign of his love. She wants to give him something in
return and asks for the emerald snake, give it to her. She will make the
snake into a raw emerald in which she asks you to take to the Queen of
the Ants to be polished up.

Step 10: Return to Smoke Mountain (path find 643, east, east, up, up,
up, east, and in. Then path find 719 ). She will polish up the emerald
without question and give it back. Now it is time to return to the king
( to get out of Smoke Mountain u0096 path find 652, then out. Now head
west, down, down, down, west, west u0096 then path find 562). Give the
emerald King Bolete.

Step 11: The king will be thrilled by the quest and ask for you to take
him to the queen, he will follow you so take him to her ( path find 568
). When the two are reunited Queen Morel will break down in sobs and you
will finish the mini quest as well as empower the scepter. Now it is

time to return to the top of the Smoke Mountains. If you have a crystal
still you can head straight to the aunt queen, if now, you should repeat
step 4 for ONE crystal (you should still have the gloves if not repeat
step 3 pertaining to obtaining the gloves).

Step 12: Once you return to the top of the Smoke Mountains you will need
to take the empowered scepter to King Newtonson, give it to him. He will
do a little ritual over the cluster that youu0092d give him earlier and
hand them back to you telling you they should work now and to return to
Maisey, so, return the back to her ( path find 782 ).

Step 13: Give the cluster to Maisey and she will go about getting
everything set up. She will ask you to take the honour of pushing the
button to the catapult, so PUSH the BUTTON and watch all your hard work
come to pass. You will be given a bit of gold and gain the honours line
of: He/She has earned the title of Savior to the Gnomes.

Hero to the Finks

Step 1: First, you need to find the jar of gunk ( path find 174 ). Now
you must fix the portal. It really does not matter which side you fix.
If you want to fix the fink side (since you are suppose to be helping
them), go kill Gnomes until you have 4 or five heavy chains. Once you
have these take them to Finko the Great ( path find 167 ).

Step 2: Once the portal is fixed you need to go through it. (portal is
located at: path find 200 ) Now, TURN the CRANK three time so that the
portal can open. Wait then enter once it is opened. Now, you need to
find Momma Mia who is found in the Smoke Mountains. ( to find her you
will want to: path find 643, east, east, up, up, up, east, and in. This
will bring you inside of the Smoke Mountains. Now to get to Momma Mia:
path find 682. ) Give the jar of gunk to Momma Mia and she will be

She will give you a tooth to take back to Mother Mucha.

Step 3: Make your way back to Mother Mucha. ( To get out of Smoke
Mountain: path find 653, out, west, down, down, down, west, west. From
here path find 591 u0096 this will take you back to the portal which
should still be opened. Once through the portal: path find 172. ) Give
the tooth to Mother Mucha. She will recognize what is wanted but will
tell you her fire is not hot enough to make the concoction.

Step 4: Mother Mucha will give you a jar and tells you that it needs to
be filled with the fires of the old country. You need to head back to
Smoke Mountains where there are lava pools. However, first you need a
pair of gloves.

Step 5: Head back to Lolliprim, the portal should still be open, however
if it is not, you should repeat step 1 ( path find 200 ). Now you need
to look around for glassblades. Once you find it you should PULL on the
REEDS in order to get them (NOTE: this will cut you and cause you to
bleed a bit.). Now that you have the reeds you should find Chanterelle (

Step 6: WEAR the GLOVES and head to Smoke Mountain ( path find 643,
east, east, up, up, up, east, and in. ) Once you arrive you will need to
find a lava pool to fill your jar from ( path find 696 ). Now you will
want to PUT the JAR into the lava POOL. You will see the jar fill up,
once filled you will want to TAKE the JAR from the lava POOL. Now that
the Jar is filled, time to return back to Mother Mucka ( path find 653,
out, west, down, down, down, west, west. From here path find 591, enter
portal. Path find 172 ).

Step 7: Once you return to Mother Mucha give her the jar filled with
lava. She will then tell you she does not have enough stink fish spice,
so she will give you a pouch and send you to retrieve what she needs.
Head back to the portal, you may need to repeat step 1 if this has taken
you a while to get through ( path find 200 ).

Step 8: You will want to find the lake towards the middle of Lollprim
and swim around until you find the stink fish swimming around.

Youu0092ll want to find and kill five of them. Once you have five you
need to seek out Porta Bella ( path find 582 ). If you GIVE the POUCH to
PORTA she will be somewhat disgusted by what you want but tell you she
needs a stink fish in order to fill the pouch. So, GIVE a FISH to PORTA
like she wants. She will hand the pouch back to you. Repeat this until
the pouch is filled.

Step 9: Now that the pouch is filled you need to return it to Mother
Mucha so that she can finish up her recipe ( path find 591, enter
portal. Path find 172 ). GIVE the POUCH back to MUCHA. She will write a
note and hand it over to you, telling you to take it to Mother Mia. Head
back to the portal, you may need to repeat step 1 if this has taken you
a while to get through ( path find 200 u0096 once in Lolliprim - path
find 643, east, east, up, up, up, east, and in. Smoke Mountains to Momma
Mia: path find 682 ).

Step 10: Once you are to Momma Mia you will want to GIVE the NOTE to
Momma MIA as you were instructed to do. She will give you a red leathery
egg. Now time to go back to Mother Mucha (path find 653, out, west,
down, down, down, west, west. From here path find 591, enter portal.

Step 11: Once you arrive back, you will want to GIVE the EGG to MUCHA so
that she can finish up her concoction. She will hatch the egg into a
naked fink warrior and tell him to go gill gnomes and he will do so.
Upon giving Mucha the egg she will give you a bucket filled with black
jelly. Now that you have this, it is back to Mamma Mia. Head back to the
portal, you may need to repeat step 1 if this has taken you a while to
get through ( path find 200 u0096 once in Lolliprim - path find 643,
east, east, up, up, up, east, and in. Smoke Mountains to Momma Mia: path
find 682 ).

Step 12: Now that you have arrived once again, GIVE the BUCKET to Mamma
MIA. She will be very happy to get this but you are not quite finished
yet. She will return the bucket to you asking you to put five stones
into it from the rock hogs. You are able to keep track by touching the
bucket to see how many more you need.

Step 13: Kill rock hogs as you were asked to do and PUT the STONEs into
the BUCKET. Once it is filled, kill finks until one drops a giant amt

egg. Once you have this ( both a corpse and an egg) you need to go to
the larvae chambers (path find 725). DROP the FINK corpse and PUT the
EGG inside of the FINK. This will hatch ant larvae, it should be noted
that once you pick this larvae up, that some of the worker ants will
become aggressive and attack you to prevent you from taking the larvae.
Take the larvae back to Momma Mia ( path find 684 )and she will grant
you passage to the top of Smoke Mountain.

Step 14: Now that you are at the Top of Smoke Mountain, you need to find
The Great Fartokan ( path find 744 ). Now, giving him the bucket, he
will not know what to do with it. So, take a look at the springnal next
to him. TURN the CRANK on the springnal until he will get excited,
however, the sling is torn, youu0092ll need to AGREE with FARTOKAN in
order to help. He will give it to you to get it repaired. So time to
head back down to Lolliprim ( path find 765, down u0096 you will find
yourself at the base of Smoke Mountain).

Step 15: Now you need to return to Chanterelle to repair the sling (
head west, down, down, down, west, west u0096 then: path find 575 ).
Simply GIVE the SLING to CHANTERELLE and she will fix it up in no time.

Now, you need to return to Fartokan (path find 643, east, east, up, up,
up, east, and in u0096 repeat the steps in step 12 in order to gain
passage back up to the Top of Smoke Mountain).

Step 16: Once you gain passage back to the Top of Smoke Mountain find
Fartokan again ( path find 744 ). GIVE the SLING back to FARTOKAN and he
will fix up the springnal. He will mention now if only he has a rock to
put into the sling. Now that bucket you got from Momma Mia comes in
handy, PUT the BUCKET into the SLING. Fartokan will ask you to do the
honour of PULLing the LEVER, do so.

Watch your hard work come to pass. You will be given a bit of gold and
gain the honours line of: She/he has earned the title of Hero to the
Finks.
