Q: What are you playing on, it is emulator?

Q: Do you have a Japanese cart?
A: Yes

Q: Why are you playing in Japanese do you know it?
A: Because I felt like it and thought it would be fun, the text speed on a JP cart is much faster then english also. I know some very limited Japanese so will be relying on my English knowledge of the game

Q: What is Manipless?
A: Beating the game without RNG Manipulation or using any glitches using Cyndaquil and Gyarados

Q: What minimum stats are your going for?
A: I will take any starter now, if its a bad cynda I will main switch to kenya at goldenrod And for gyarados any nature is fine but having -attack or -speed isnt great but you can still finish the run

Q: How do you get gyarados?
A: Route 43, a magikarp at level 50 is a 1% encounter slot basically you Lead with a pokemon around level 26-49 put repel up and turn frame back and forward to save repel tiles then get lucky finding it (1%), turn framing increases the chances of encounters heres an example https://www.twitch.tv/videos/799152952

Q: Thats OP how do you catch the level 50 Magikarp?
A: I buy a net ball at the ecruteak mart, then use it on magikarp its 100% chance of catching!, once I catch it, I evolve it using 2 rare candies and boom we have an overleveled pokemon for that part of the game and basically until the end of the run.

Q: So what are the run killers?
A: Blue and Red thats about it, Bugsy can also be annoying. other fights like Lance and erika are not great if not in flail range but they are winnable.

Q: Why do you choose Cyndaquil?
A: Because the Cyndaquil deals with the early game very well, with sprout tower being forced in HGSS its the most consistent and fastest starter to get up to the Lake Of Rage

Q: Why are you resetting?
A: Most likely because I died or had to many encounters

A: Q: Why Heart Gold over Soul Silver?
A:  can fly straight away from the top of tin tower, 1 less escape rope and running from ho-oh is easier then running from lugia

Q: Why do you play as the girl?

Q: Why do you name yourself and Cyndaquil/Gyarados one character?
A: Because it's faster to name them one character for text purposes.

Q: Are there glitches in this run?
A: There are glitches in this game, but this is a glitchless run.

Q: What other pokemon do you catch/use?
A: Sentret I catch for cut/whirlpool, Gyarados is used for surf/waterfall/strength and the main pokemon & Spearow is given to you & used for Fly

Q: What is a "spinner"?
A: A spinner is a trainer that randomly looks in each direction.  These spinning trainers cost precious time on account of extra time battling.
