Miraculous Rules

Characters:
-If you want to make a character go right ahead.  Theres no point is gate keeping at this point in time. However, we discourage doubles of existing miraculous.(situation pending see the last rule of character) So it is recomended that you look at the list. And hit up the admin.
-Miraculous can be reserved for upto one week.
-Please do not use an existing character from another series. So that means Naruto or a Naruto clone, can be the weilder of the fox miraculous. Nor can Deku from My Hero Academia be the weilder of the horse miraculous. However you can draw inspiration from existing  characters. Just make them your own.
-Please be reasonable with your character.  This means you can't be super powerful with the abilities of a god.... (You have to get the Ladybug and cat miraculous' for that.)
-Other abilities not given from a miraculous are allowed as well. But please talk to Margaret first.
-The roaster is updated when possible. If you don't see your name on there or would like it added soon, speak to Margaret.
-Canons maybe allowed. Within reason. But on a case by case basis.  Since time travel is being expanded on in season 3. Ask Margaret for more information. Thank you.

Roleplay:
-Drama ICly is fine!  But keep it ic.
-Politely going to ask you refrain from smutting in main. While I get we are all consenting adults here it is not suggested to lewd in the room. In DM's ? Hey it's fair game! Go at it!   But once the clothes fly off in main... please feel free to fade to black.
-There are NO main characters! We are all the leads of our own stories.
-Do not harass other people to respond. A nudge or poke is fine but if we get word of extreme pestering we'll have to talk.
-Please be civil oocly.
-If there is a roleplay going on and you would like to join it is highly suggested you ask both parties. And go from there.
-PLease understand if some one writes a couple of lines for you, it's best to meet them half way. AKA please refrain from giving one liners.
-Semi-IC is fine. But if it is interfering with roleplay going on, you will be asked to stop.

Abilties/Combat:
-You are given a few minor abilities and one trump card. Keep in mind the trump card will cancel out your transformation after use!
-Nothing overpowered.
-All abilities are to be presented to the mods and cannot be used until given the green light by the admin.
-You can draw inspiration from an existing character's ability but do not copy paste. Unless the actually ability is established with an existing character. Aka Ladybug's or Chat Noir's abilities, these are set for every holder of those miraculous, so if it's a canonly confirmed ability it stays.  If it's unclear then go crazy.
-If your character's weapon or tools are already confirmed, IE Hawkmoth's cane, or Ladybug's yoyo, or even Queen bee's stinger thing.... These should not be  too different for your character. This being said a list will be provided for the existing and already established tools/weapons for existing miraculous.
-As confirmed in canon, a miraculous holder can keep their form after using their trump. However this is for the more expierenced. So a new holder should not be able to hold a transformation after using their trump card ability.
-Give your abilities a limit/draw back.
-Do not META! META IS NOT ALLOWED!  God-modding is not okay. Meta-Knowledge is not okay!

Heroes and Villians:
-You can make up Miraculous. But it must be run by a staff member for the final okay.
-The list of open Miraculouses are based off concept art leaked by the series. Ask Margaret if you need help.
-Make sure you mention what animal you are basing it from if you are using a miraculous.
-Aliens, magic and the lot are welcome. The "Zaggverse' that Miraculous is set is fairly open as of right now.
-You can be a hero or a villain. Or even just a citizen. Or even a gun for hire.
-You can create abilities for NONE established powers. Do not override the Cat Miraculous or the Ladybug Miraculous abilities or the butterfly.
-If you have a miraculous you have a familiar or Kwami. You are in charge of playing them instead of relying on someone else. They don't need to take up too much of your time. And can just be attached to the character like an NPC.
-Keep your color scheme. Like Ladybug is black and red, don't turn around and make her white and blue because you think it looks cool. Or how the Turtle is green, Do not change this to be Yellow and black.  The shades can be shifted but still Also don't worry around repeating color schemes.

OOC:
-Drama is not tolerated. If it is something that can be handled please do so as an adult.
-Keep your private matters to yourself. If you have a beef with another member please keep it out of the main chat.
-Your character can be a douche but you as the typist SHOULD NOT. This is not tolerated.
-If you are not seen for a good few weeks with no warning or word from you, your miraculous will open up as a slot.
-We want everyone to have fun. This isn't just for one person.
-Mods are expected to follow these rules as well.
-Good ol' three strikes your out system.
-Everything else will be handled on a case by case basis.
