FreeGee unlocks just about all LG Optimus G variants. If you are having issues with FreeGee "soft bricking" you be sure to try the "SBL Unlock" in FreeGee... Open FreeGee > Menu Button > SBL Unlock
Hit the "Get Code" button to be taken to a website to generate your SBL unlock code. After entering
your SBL unlock code you can continue with the FreeGee unlock process.

Remember to backup your EFS with FreeGee. You never know when your EFS could get messed up. Be sure to backup your EFS files somewhere other than your phones sdcard... email it to yourself or something.
