Right then, an ear-splitting, metallic sound screeched through the
northeastern sky. A squadron of jet fighters were headed to attack Godzilla.
Ka-bang!! Ka-bang!!
Great pillars of water rose into the air with a roar.
The planes entered into a nosedive one after the next, descending from an
altitude of ten thousand meters. They were flying with such speed that they
were hardly visible as they attacked Godzilla with their rockets.
The onlookers on the shores suddenly came to their senses. They gripped
their sweaty hands tight and shouted for all they were worth.
“Come on! You can do it!!”
“Take revenge for us!!”
“That’s it!! Shoot, shoot!!”
But the assault from the jets didn’t seem to bother Godzilla in the least.
He swatted two or three jets near him into the sea and let out a gigantic
WRAAAWR!! like a battle cry.
