Gella had managed to put her arms down and blink, reorienting herself. She pointed into the darkness.
"Oh no. I think that's Master Sun!"
In the distance, there was a solitary glowing blue lightsaber. It was deflecting blaster bolts, with a cadence that reminded her so much of Creighton's fighting style. But he seemed to only be defending himself.
The lightsaber abruptly dropped closer to the ground; Master Sun was on his knees, about to fall.
"Master Sun!" Gella gasped. She tried to get up and fell over, still weakened by the effects of those creatures.
"Gella, no. Wait," Axel said, holding her back.
The blue lightsaber deflected more blaster bolts before it paused, hovering in the darkness. Abruptly, it spun in the air and fell onto the ground. The low roar of a speeder rose and fell.
