» | background; Isla was born in Valencia, Spain, and grew up speaking both Spanish and Korean thanks to her parents. She moved to Busan, South Korea when she was seven years old with her parents. When she was twelve, her parents got a divorce, and her father moved out. Due to this, Isla isn't very close to him, because on top of the divorce he is always busy and doesn't make time for her. She tries not to think about the divorce that much because it still upsets her. She was scouted for the entertainment company when she was thirteen years old, and has been training there ever since.

– Ella Kim (mother) – 43 years old, and was born in Spain where she grew up. She later moved to Korea with her husband and children. She works as a primary school teacher. Isla and her mother are very close.
– Kim Junseo (father) – 45 years old, and was born in South Korea. He met Ella when he travelled to Spain during university, and they later got married there. He currently works as a businessman. Isla isn’t really that close with him, because she doesn’t see him very often.
– Leo Kim (brother) – 24 years old, and lives in an apartment on his own. He’s currently studying to be an engineer at university. Isla usually goes around to visit him and is very close with him.

» | personality; Isla is usually a happy and bubbly girl who always seems to be smiling. She never has any problems voicing out or talking to new people. She can also be rather immature at times, and will often use her aegyo as a weapon to get whatever she wants. She is never on time for anything, and is often seen running around trying to get to places that she should’ve been five minutes before hand. Isla is also known to be incredibly impatient. She also has a habit of holding grudges for a really long time, despite her bubbly personality.

» | first meeting and initial reaction; the first time they met, Isla was very embarrassed, because she was running late and ran into him, knocking herself over while he managed to remain on her feet. When she realised who he was, she muttered a quick sorry and ran off. However, the next time they met, he recognised her, and she tried to hide, but he just smiled and laughed it off, thinking that her embarrassment was cute.

» | how she acts around him; Isla would be kind of shy at first, since she'd run into him and almost knocked him over. However, she would eventually begin to open up to him, and they'd become close friends. She would also do a lot of aegyo around him to get what she wanted.
