Mike had been always gifted when it came to raw energy. Having developed early spiritual abilities, able to  fire off searing energy blast. Even able to amplify his spiritual pressure greatly.

His abilities had come naturally and his body however hadn't the  time to adjust. He commonly ran into the issue of his body feeling like it was tearing itself apart when letting more of this energy out.

His solution to this how ever was rather simple, though not all that bright. He ignored the fatigue and pain. Forcing his body to adjust and just handle the pain through sheer will.  The Gin and Bare it method.

Though this energy eventually was the End for the young man. He had pushed his body to far and burst like a large bomb as the energy inside of him went haywire.

 As a soul He had wonder for some time, till eventually he had become a hollow. From there everything was a blur. That was till he found himself in a void with a light before him. But he saw the shadow's over other beings. Something in him telling him that he need to reach this light before who or what ever these shadows were. His energy surging through his form and the light getting closer. The shadow's vanishing.

Then Everything was dark. Sensation returning. His senses slowly waking up from as if he'd been sleeping for some time. Wind, such a cold wind.  The smell of staleness carried on it. Opening his eyes he saw nothing but white sand and Black sky. His hands were monstrous, his memories foggy but he remembered who he was, but they was static of the others, those. . . shadows.

Life like this seemed to continue. Though he had been finding himself consuming other hollows, an odd hunger that he'd only seen as natural.

Life however changed when his Mask had been removed. The raw energy he contained reawakening before darkness. His body more able to handle this energy but that wasn't the problem. The people that had removed his mask had subdued him.
