TWILIGHTPASTE

(A shot of the earth slowly spinning, as day turns to night over the east coast of the US, over this whole stating section)
Just on the border

(Stars sparkle and twinkle a bit, the image slightly distorts)

(The camera starts to zoom)
Where darkness and light are one
(Now it's focusing on that grey area, where sunlight turns to night)
And as you tread the halls of sanity
(zooom)

Unable to go beyond

I have a message from another time
(Zoom speeds up to a blur, the blur ceases, revealing a city at night's skyline, as the sun finally lowers below the horizon and lights start to come on. As the streetlights light up, the Dark Man from the first session strolls towards the camera, and as it overtakes the lens, well, convenient scenecut!)

(PCs running towards school, except Ferret's, who is already there and holding the door open. One probably has a slice of bread in their mouth. A fuzzy animal perches on Dahlia's shoulder.)
The visions dancing in my mind (Cut to fuzzy animal standing on a picnic blanket, surrounded by baskets, who looks at the camera knowingly, then tilts his head towards the sky, motion blur upwards cut to...)
The early dawn, the shades of time (A great tower soaring above the sky, sticking into the clouds, glyphs and platforms flowing up and down it's side, birds fluttering around..)
Twilight crawling through my windowpane (A dilapidated and broken version of the same tower, cracked, all the glyphs inactive, platforms long since having fell.)
Am I awake or do I dream? (A vision of the dreamlands from far above- from here, you can see the towers of the court of Diamonds, the palace of Hearts, the great forest of Clubs, mountain range of Spades, and the jungles of Swords)
The strangest pictures I have seen (Several quick slide in from the side cuts of the PCs each doing a silly pose, except Elysia, who just rolls her eyes at the camera, SERRA lets out a small grin, ???? gives an awkward smile, ???? Flashes a peace sign, ???? frowns a bit, and the Dark Thing cracks it's smile... and the screen briefly bursts into static)
Night is day and twilight's gone away (Cut to the city at night once more, as the dark thing jumps through a window, straight up /through/ a closed window, into what looks like a small apartment building.)

With your head held high and your scarlet lies
(A vision of a great storm from below, pouring rain and lightning striking a desolated landscape)
You came down to me from the open skies
(Two MAHOUS in freefall, one grabs the other and starts flying off towards a bright sun above)
It's either real or it's a dream (The SUN high above the dreamlands, and then THE SUN above The City)
There's nothing that is in between... (The two images start to fade into each other and darken... for a moment. It settles at grey, but brightens briefly...)

[CHORUS:]
Twilight, I only meant to stay awhile (The MAHOUS fighting a small horde of various darkened inside what appears to be an EMPTY CHURCH)
Twilight, I gave you time to steal my mind (A MAHOU sitting on a cliff, a weapon pointed vaguely forwards, but mostly being held onto introspectively)
Away from me. ( Mahou looks down, cut to /photo album/ in lap)

Across the night I saw your face (the DARK THING exits a building as police surround said building, not noticing it's exit, but this time there's a series of sparkles as VARIOUS MAHOUS set off after it along their various paths)
You disappeared without a trace (The thing ducks into an alley, and vanishes...? But the MAHOUS open the Tainted Place, crossing over into the Dark World)
You brought me here, but can you take me back? (They confront the DARK THING, now surrounded by... what appear to be more or less still human darkened. Someone trembles, but steels themselves, charging forward)
Inside the image of your light (PCs pose dramatically in front of MOON hanging over some sort of GARDEN or COURTYARD AREA)
That now is day and once was night (SUN RISES unrealistically fast in hamhanded symbolism, bathes PCs in light)
You lead me here and then you go away. (... And then vanishes, bathing the area in shadow once more.)

[REPEAT CHORUS]

(FUZZY ANIMAL tilts it's head towards the ground, looking about as sad as a fuzzy animal can. It's not that sad looking.)
(A WORN OUT MAHOU fires a beam towards something offscreen, then wipes their head, leaning on SOME SORT OF POLEARM OR OTHER APPROPRIATE WEAPON for a bit. This scene has rain.)
(And then collapses)

(You brought me here, but can you take me back again?) (Camera cuts to worn out Mahou's face, with RAIN AND OR TEARS streaming down their face)

With your head held high and your scarlet lies (But they take a hand from offscreen , and stand, readying their weapon once more. It's a hard life, but it's what they've got.)
You came down to me from the open skies (And then lunges off, starting into a run- camera focuses on this from like a 3/4ths position in front of them before doing a spinny blurry effect to cut to next scene)

[REPEAT CHORUS]
(A MAHOU reaches out a hand to someone on the ground, who flinches away, but then takes it, standing. It may be another mahou It is dark.)
(Person stands, then GTFOs out of the scene)
(Mahou shakes their head a bit, then looks up ,shielding their eyes from a small light- the sun rises above the horizon)

(Pan up to the sun hanging over the sky, birds flying above)
Twilight, I only meant to stay awhile
(Pan up and up, past planes and balloons and clouds)
Twilight, I only meant to stay awhile
(To the satellites and the moon)
Twilight, Twilight, Twilight, Twilight.
(Earth spinning once more, this time  the sun's rising in the east coast, instead of setting)
