- where the hell was Starlight, Discord, the CMC, Shining Armor, Moondancer, Maud, Thorax, Trixie, Flurry Heart, Daring Do, the Cakes...
- Cadence, Luna, Celestia were down for the entire movie...
- The movie felt lacklustre at times because it asked me the viewer to relate to and accept new characters, the monsters, the cat guy, etc. instead of giving me characters I can already relate to.
- The sea ponies are a big meme.
- However,
- the movie did have some great execution. Everything fit together, every part of the movie had its reason for being there.
- Some moments were really deep hitting such as when Twilight talked back at Pinkie.
- The score and music was great. Daniel Ingram is credited for the BGM instead of Anderson? Explains why we aren't getting as many songs in the TV show anymore I guess...
- Still though. The movie is doing something wrong, if I can't even remember the names of evil unicorn lady, her pie loving monster companion and the evil wizard dude now.
