They returned fire, and they were much better shots than the Twi’lek. Mostly because there were so many of them all firing at once. Vernestra skidded to a stop, bringing her lightsaber up and twisting the bezel so the blade fell into a whip. She spun the whip around in a quick circle to deflect the hail of blaster fire. The Twi’lek had no such defense, and he fell to the ground in a limp heap.
