It’s probably not my room to judge, but something should be done come next round of world bosses for loot. I’ve been there for 5 of the 6 helms and have lost them to players there for 1-2 times.
Like I understand that some people can’t make it because of work, 4AM, ect...but something needs to be arranged for those who have less time va those with more time ect....or pre determined loot in advanced for 2 players on a high priority item such as the mace from kazzak so there’s less stress to feel like we have to hover over our computers all day

the initial 2 helms could have been handled better, yes. that is partly my fault for not having the foresight to predict this current predicament. the last 3 were planned priests and then neko as only healer present. we've gotten a lot of loot since the first 2 helms which exacerbates the issue. we've gotten 5 helms in guild so far. acies has gotten 2.

we do have world boss loot earmarked for people but we can't ever predict who will be online when it drops. we almost lost a mace with deathraven our only warrior present.

i know i did you wrong and i've set it up to try to make up for it, but mc hasn't dropped a single healer item in 2 weeks and azuregos spawned at 5am to drop helm.
zhoss does not have it
helms are lush, nayr, drucifer, thor, neko (in that order)
i personally don't care about loot much, so long as i can do my job. i put myself last so i can gear up my team. only reason i got shoulders first is it was the first mc and our loot setup was just cobbled together. i linked bis like everyone else and they gave it to me.

i guess nothing organized isn't the best phrasing, more along the lines of lack of communication in regards to priotization
like X person you're up for Item A, Y you're on deck, you two need to makes ure you're here

i'm not saying you are inactive, just that we are down to the last 4 we need and our chances of losing a helm are going up. any extra steps you can take while not interfering with your life are all i'm asking for.

" lets try to be extra diligent about being there," and "we really don't want to lose a helm" comes off to me as, make sure you're there....when I've been there, the whole post off comes off as an attack

wasn't the intent. it was as i just said, if you can improve your chance to be there, please try to. if not, we'll do the best we can.
i've also told you that you were next in line for the helm, so that has been clearly communicated
in general i don't want to have the gear priority list as public, but perhaps world boss loot could be an exception.

I just know, as the 4 dragons come up, generally speaking competetion is going to be harder, there's better loot, and to me it appears to be a show up ish mentality
i would go on the other end and say I don't really care to show up when acies has prio as it feels we do like 90% of the effort for 50% of the reward

it does feel worse to show up for acies prio, but we need to ensure the alliance gets the kill to flip to back to us
there's another side to this as far as how often people can show up. how do you place a person who can't be there very often? do you give it to them early in the list on a rare time they are able to make it, or put them towards the end due to their lack of attendance, and miss out on helms waiting for them to make it to a boss kill?

Offset the priority on raid gear vs the world boss gear, that person has higher priority on boss gear
I mean, kazzak mace is a different exception because its very clear WHO that should be going too first
But look at the helm for example
Zogu has 95% raid attendance, but has a very wonky work schedule so good luck him getting a world boss kill outside of a normalish time kill (or even yourself / myself with 100% attendance).  Due to scheduling they have higher priority on World boss loot vs other shared loot
i mean, chances are 99% of this conversation is all useless becuase we have such a dominant play on the world boss kills, and everything will get replaced almost instantly in naxxramas
or AQ40
but its a little dishearting to have 100% raid attendance and like healing pants
granted i have all the tier 1 and tier 2, that no one wanted....but that's besides the point
on a more serious note, can you and I sit down some time to come up with a TLDR for AQ 40 / Naxx

and zogu is geared af now so he can wait for an emerald dragon helm

she also doesn't bid on gear and is definitely a better healer than me. we make sure she's considered for stuff, and since she tends to not have a lot of gear, it naturally elevates her. she is worried about bidding since she is hydd's gf.
she also doesn't have a caut band and isn't up for one soon
regarding aq40/naxx, are you talking gear, raid strats, something else?

I don't remember that working in Vanilla, but I do remember you could bug the boss out in the corner and the tanks could be LoS of the tick
like they could tank on the corner and be LoS of the fire stacking thing while dpsing

dalina brought it up that they were los and originally had the tank position somewhere else, but we modified the tank position to those corners, using the table.

the other issue is that we're not sure if the threat reduction is target only or all people who get hit by wing buffet
on private server it was only target

So tanks are the star, lightning bolt is the boss, pink thingy is healers range, other is the melee
you can kill the boss in like 45 seconds
it looks really bad, but they can like clip through the wall DPS'ing but still have the LoS

dalina had a different positioning for broodlord that reduced melee damage taken, but also fairly significantly reduced their uptime on the boss

and you just burn the boss in like 30 seconds
