  1. Freshman college students. All young, no older than 20. God I miss being that age.
  2.
  3. I stared at them. About fifty in all, I think. All eyes were on me as I took my place beside the professor for the psychology class I agreed to demonstrate with. The professor himself, a one Miles Prower, a dear friend and mentor in some cases, a student in others, stood in front of the class. His age was finally starting to show, despite being nearly 60. It's an odd feeling seeing someone younger than you look so old. Eternal youth does that to ya I guess.
  4.
  5. "All right class, let's begin. Our topic for today is emotions. Let's start with anger. A defense mechanism in most cases, anger is widely viewed as a negative emotion. Certainly, it can't be entirely negative, can it? Who here can tell me a few positive aspects of anger?" Half the class raised their hands. "Ah, Clarissa, what do you think?"
  6.
  7. A young girl, a cat I think, put her hand down and breathed deep. Guess she's not used to being the center of attention.
  8.
  9. "One positive aspect of anger is the ability to ignore pain." Her blue eyes were worried, hoping that the answer would suffice. "Also, it can give someone superhuman strength in extremely rare cases."
  10.
  11. Miles looked at her with a stern look on his face, as a college teacher would. "Yes, those are two positive aspects. Both of which my friend over here has experienced many times." He smirked at me. That bastard.
  12.
  13. I barked out "Go fuck yourself, Tails", as the class gasped. Apparently, they've never used such FOUL language before.
  14.
  15. "Don't mind my friend, he's always like that, it's genetic. Back on topic, can anyone else list any positive aspects of anger?" Miles, in all his old man glory, still looked at me with his faded blue eyes with the spark of a kid. He was always like that.
  16.
  17. Straightening his black coat, a staple of professors where he taught, he walked towards his students. Always liked to get into the class instead of standing at the head and blabbering on like a record. That's good I guess, I'll just stand here and wait my turn...
  18.
  19.
  20.
  21. An hour has passed. Zoned out. Guess standing in the sun will do that to ya.
  22.
  23. I focused back on the group as they were all talking, sitting in the grass. One of the students glanced over at me, realizing I finally moved.
  24.
  25. "Hey, you're back!" The young man smiled. Human, apparently. Guess 'Overlanders' were being accepted into Mobian society now.
  26.
  27. "Ah, and now for the treat I wanted to show you." Miles stood up, stretching as he did. "As most of you know from your history classes, the Saiyan race were originally a brutish lot, a warrior race fueled by battle. A lot has changed for their kind since their home was destroyed." Wait, they teach other races histories here? How the hell did they get Saiyans? "The Saiyan race has become rare, most of them being wiped out along with their home. Only a few full bloods still exist, while their offspring continue the bloodlines."
  28.
  29. "And that's where I'll take over." Stepping forward, the classes eyes were on me again. "Although I don't have teaching degree like my friend here, I'm gonna give you a quiz about why I am here today; who can tell me what one of the most famous Saiyan legends is?" I hope they get this one right, it's the only one I know.
  30.
  31. The cat girl from before piped up before anyone raised their hand. "Oh, oh, I know! It's the Super Saiyan. Wasn't their one thousands of years ago?"
  32.
  33. "Yup, that's the one I had in mind! What can you tell me about the Super Saiyan legend?"
  34.
  35. "Umm...there's only one born every few thousand years...they're completely rage filled...and the last known Super Saiyan could only control it in their...giant monkey form, I can't remember the proper name. Sorry!"
  36.
  37. I chuckled. This college knew their stuff, this girl is proof I think. "Oozaru. The giant monkey form is called the oozaru. But that legend got it wrong on the 'only controlling it in their oozaru form'. I should know." I looked at Miles, a large smile growing on both my face and his. He was waiting for this.
  38.
  39. The class erupted into chatter. Can't make heads or tails of what they're saying. "You guys might want to take a step back for this." Miles led them a little ways away. I'll need the distance.
  40.
  41. Taking a deep breath, I readied myself for whatever might come next.
  42.
  43. "What you're seeing now, is a normal Saiyan state. Well, normal for me anyways. Being half Saiyan and half Mobian does that for me." The class gasps. Apparently, Miles forgot to mention my heritage. "My base self. Nothing more, nothing less."
  44.
  45. The air changed around me as I focused. Initiating the form doesn't take too much, but I wanted to make it a show for the kids. "Hmmmmmnnnngggg..." The wind circled around me as I clenched my fists. The look on their faces would make this worth it. "RrrraaaaaAAAGGH!" The light of transformation engulfed me as I felt everything about me change; bulk increase, muscles tensing, blood flow increasing...this is what a Super Saiyan feels. My hair had went from it's short, black fringe to a spiked golden-yellow, along with my eyebrows, muzzle, chest fur and the end of my tail. Why that all changes instead of just the hair like every other Saiyan, I don't know. Comes with the Mobian blood I guess.
  46.
  47. "THIS, boys and girls, is a Super Saiyan." A smirk crawled onto my face.
  48.
  49. The class was awestruck. No one said a thing. I decided it would be best to walk up to them, let them get a closer look. The stunned look on their faces was well worth it. A few of the girls reached out to touch my arms, but jerked away from the energy they surely felt emanating from me. Wonder if this works on 'other' ways...
  50.
  51. "What do you think?" Miles attempts to get the class moving. I wanted to bathe in the spotlight more dammit. "The Super Saiyan transformation is strange indeed; increased strength, speed, agility, dexterity and raw power. No other race we've recorded have something even close to this. And to think, this only the first stage!"
  52.
  53. "The f-first? You mean there's others??" Clarissa again. Guess the rest of the class was still awestruck.
  54.
  55. "Yes. Shall you demonstrate Matthew?" That child like smile appeared again. How anyone could say no to it is unimaginable.
  56.
  57. "Fine, fine." I leaped back to my original position. I took another deep breath as I gathered the ki needed to go to the next level. "Hmmmmmnnnnn...." The ground around me caved slightly as the sheer force from my ki pounded away at it. "Ggggrrrraaahhhh...!" I felt my body begin to increase in mass again, only slightly less. Everything nearly turned to white in my vision as I let out a yell, "YYYEEEAAAGGHH!", and just like that, everything was clear again. What few bangs were hanging down were now flowing with the rest of the spiky golden-yellow mess on my head. The pounding of my heart beat rang in my ears as my blood flow increased to keep up with the increased energy burn.
  58.
  59. "It takes something very serious and something deep down in you to reach this stage. This, young ones, is a Super Saiyan that has ascended passed a Super Saiyan. Or you could just call this a Super Saiyan Two." A chuckle escaped my lips. Super Saiyan 2? What was next, Super Saiyan 3?
  60.
  61. The class was still in awe, although less so this time. They actually came up to me instead of me to them, inspecting me, although they didn't get to close. My aura and the ki arcing over me kept them two arms lengths away, and for good measure. Didn't need any of them getting hurt by me just standing here.
  62.
  63. A man piped up this time. "There wasn't that much of a physical change this time. Your hair just got spikier!"
  64.
  65. I let out a laugh. "That's because this form isn't that dramatic physical appearance wise as it is combat wise. This form increases my combat potency a hundred fold. And that's not the end of it either." The same guy barked back what I had thought. "Whats next, Super Saiyan Three?"
  66.
  67. I looked over at Miles, wanting to get his permission before I went further. This next bit could get a bit messy, if he approves.
  68.
  69. "...do it. Show them what a real Saiyan is made of."
  70.
  71. A sadistic smile showed on his face this time; one I haven't seen since I tried training him when he was still a kid, after Robotnik was finally killed. I knew what he wanted and I was going to fucking deliver.
  72.
  73. I pulled my hand forward, focusing on the object I was permanently linked to. It took a second, but the pure green Chaos Emerald phased into my hand, the warm glow shining in my touch. It knew what was next.
  74.
  75. "Alrighty, boys and girls...you ready for a once in a life time opportunity to see something that there is only one of? Well, you're about to see..."
