  20. One day, while the Sith Librarian was dropping off free literature on a Republic world by the name of Taris, there was a battle in orbit. It was subsequently blockaded by a fleet of warships claiming to be Sith after their victory, and who were canavassing the planet in hopes that they could capture the meager survivors.
  21.
  22. So naturally, the Librarian elected to track the survivors down for himself, because it amused him. After all, the Sith are ruled by their passions, and what is amusement but one of those passions?
  23.
  24. Of course, the first one he found was in the Undercity, and he happened to crash a swoop bike race in order to take the Jedi padawan learner being presented as a trophy, one Bastila Shan. Which he found quite hilarious, considering who she was and her abilities. It briefly put him at odds with the other assorted Republic survivors, before he cheerfully threw his lot in with them and joined them in their hairbrained scheme to rip off a crime lord and take his ship for themselves.
  25.
  26. It perplexed them all that he continued to refer to the Ebon Hawk as "Aluminum Falcon" - Mission Vaio in particular was heard arguing with him on more than one occasion, asking, "What the hell's an aluminum falcon?!" - but he proved his worth as a more than able gunner, even though Bastila was... more than slightly outspoken about an outsider that just seemed off to her. Ah, if only she realized, but he hid his abilities, kept himself cloaked in the Force. That was indeed put to the test at the Jedi enclave, but luckily enough the ruse held. Though he didn't put it too strongly to the test - no need to tempt everyone to try to come for his head simultaneously.
  27.
  28. From there, he stuck with Revan as he regained his memories, recruited more to his cause and recruited others; an old Jedi for example that he was happy to talk philosophy with, to say nothing of tempering the passions of a padawan who had fallen to the dark side and joined after Revan talked her around. But when Malak captured the aforementioned Bastila and attempted to turn her to the dark side... he tagged along. Whispered profane promises in her ear when Malak wasn't around, only angering her more. And when she turned to the dark side, she sought him out to exact her revenge... only to find that he was nowhere to be found.
  29.
  30. And when Revan stormed the Star Forge, restored to his full power and in full possession of his faculties, she found that the Sith Librarian was no longer hiding his affinity to the force, his lightsaber the orange of molten lava... and also found that he had apparently also been at Revan's side all along.
  31.
  32. To say nothing of the fact that, when Revan found Malak and confronted him, the Librarian was also at Malak's side with a crimson lightsaber.
  33.
  34. Both the current and former would-be Sith were extremely confused by this turn of events, but the Librarians engaged each other and their battle spilled out of the room while Revan and Malak confronted each other; while the battle between the two was ongoing, more Librarians spilled through the chamber the fight was taking place in. Each one with a differently colored lightsaber. After Revan struck Malak down, this trend continued, leaving him exceptionally confused at the growing number fighting each other. By the time he and Basila made their escape, it seemed armies of Librarians were fighting in the corridors.
  35.
  36. When the Aluminum Falcon - no, the Ebon Hawk - cleared the Star Forge, they found the Librarian aboard at the controls, with Carth Onassi beside him, apparently having been ready all this time to help whisk them to safety, and the motley crew bemused at Revan and Bastila's confusion on the matter.
  37.
  38. Although when Revan went back to the Unknown Regions to bring war to the Sith Empire, the Librarian went alongside him.
  39.
  40. Which was all the more perplexing when rumors circulated about the Librarian and Darth Kreia having a philosophical discussion which ended in her suffering a broken nose. Something about circular logic and excess criticism.
