Blank Faced because they both trained as vocals but also because she doesn't really mind Ki Hyun's skinship as she doesn't really notice it.
Sassy Maknae because she cooks for Kihyun and Kihyun loves free food.

↪ Personality - Kihyun is the type that loves everybody and is all-round nice giving hugs and skinship. She's very expressive and affectionate to those she cares about. She's generally approachable and it's really hard to get on her bad side but once you do you're never getting out. She's very caring towards her members and will give them a huge hug when they're feeling sad or give them lots of food to make them feel better because stress eating is always best. She'll laugh at any type of joke no matter how stupid it is. She's very extraverted but there are still times where she needs to be alone and eating - just to help herself destress. She's a bit tomboyish and can hang out with boys because she grew up around her brothers so she likes to do sports and be active too.

↪ Background - Before she was born, her parents thought that she was going to be another boy and so prepared the name Kihyun for her except she turned out to be a girl but her parents couldn't think of a name and still named her Kihyun. Kihyun grew up with her two brothers and grandparents in Jeju as her parents worked far away in Seoul and were too busy to take care of their kids. Her grandparents owned a restaurant by the sea and so both her and her brothers were always fed with the best food even if they said that they didn't want to eat. Her grandparents loved Kihyun a lot as she was their only female grandchild and even though she grew up tomboyish, she was very affectionate as a kid. Always giving her grandma and grandpa a kiss on the cheek and hugging them before leaving the house. She loved singing ever since she was a child, singing the old trot songs that her grandparents would sing while they cheered for her and sometimes she would even perform at the restaurant as a form of entertainment. Her grandparents' restaurant was quite well known as they served really fresh fish and one day a SM scout was actually vacationing in Jeju and came to the restaurant. Kihhyun's voice grabbed his attention and so he scouted her to become a trainee. Her grandparents didn't want to at first because she was still very young and wouldn't have anyone in Seoul but then Kihyun said that her parents would be there so she'll always have someone to call. And then her grandparents allowed her to go.
