	— SOFT-SPOKEN | "how about we-" "sorry, what? speak louder."
		hiro has a very gentle voice which often makes it hard for people to understand what she is saying. seeing as the girl doesn't 			tend to raise her voice, it can be quite difficult for her to get her input in. while her calming and quiet voice can be cute to others and the fans, it has proven to be annoying to hiro. she hates repeating herself and gets embarrassed when what she said went unnoticed or a show host teases her for her gentle speaking. no matter how hard she tries, she simply cannot yell. fans have noticed how hiro seems to get the more soothing/calm parts of songs rather than powerful ones.

		it is no secret that hiro is indeed one of the quietest members of comet. she simply does not like to engage in conversation as she is too shy. she is more hesitant to talk on shows or embarrass herself on television like MEISSA or PLEIONE. she's even tried to get lessons from the shameless members yet she was even to embarrassed to do anything in front of them. some deem her as boring while others see her as cute. hiro blushes easily and gets teased for it. it could be the simplest thing such as one of the members telling her her hair looks nice that day and there she is, a tomato. it's where her habit of burying her face in her hands comes from as she hates people seeing her blush.

		if POLARIS is the hyper baby of the group, hiro is the cute baby of the group. completely different from the other two maknaes, hiro tends to be the calmer one of bunch. she definitely keeps it easy for the parents of the group. she can just sit there and have at least three members pinching her cheeks and telling her she's cute. she'll constantly be the one that is pushed into doing aegyo even if she's too shy to do it. and even if it's not cheesy, her "shy baby aegyo" (as the other members call it) is still enough to make others melt. her eye smile adds another layer of cuteness. hiro is just adorable without even realizing it.

	— INNOCENT | "what is so funny about 69?"
		a precious baby with no knowledge of anything sexual and the older members promise to keep it that way. no matter how many sexually related jokes the members can tell, hiro cannot pick up on them. she even still keeps her search filter on safe mode so nothing inappropriate comes up. simply, hiro doesn't want to see or hear about that. even if the older ones do protect her from it, hiro doesn't let herself learn about anyway. first off, it embarrasses her and kind of makes her uncomfortable. second, she knows she is still pretty young and won't need to know about any of it anyway. she likes living in her pure world.

		hiro's biggest flaw is that she is insecure and sensitive yet she still reads hate comments as if it won't affect her yet she still ends up hurt in the end. no matter how many times she is told to just ignore it, it won't work. because she grew up being bullied for her weight, it's a sensitive topic for her. it even worries fans whenever hiro loses a lot weight randomly whenever she was skinny before. however, once she is cheered up by members, she gains the weight back and they'll even try to take away technology from her in order for her to live without needing the approval from others.

	— CREATIVE | "i made three choreos for this one song yesterday."
		even if she isn't the main dancer, hiro does help in making the choreography for their music. she may not be the best dancer in the group but she sure does have a lot of ideas in that head of hers. it's one of the only times she is excited to talk. while she was smart in school, hiro always excelled in the arts. it was her strong suit as she had a big imagination. sometimes she'll participate in writing but likes to leave it to the members who are more advanced in producing since they know what's best. she only speaks up whenever the assigned choreographers ask for ideas and boy oh boy she is ready to finally give her input.

		with a heart of gold, hiro is super caring. she is always checking up on the members and offering to help them whenever she sees they are struggling. hiro may not be the  best person to go to for advice but she's a good shoulder to cry on. she typically doesn't say much and lets them rant or just cry. however, sometimes she needs to be careful as she can start worrying more about the members than herself. while her intentions are good, she can sometimes forget  about her own well-being.

BACKGROUND:

	hiro grew up in osaka for most of her life. she lived a mostly normal life. she didn't come from a wealthy family, she went to school, had a small tight knit group of friends, and stayed up late to finish projects that were due the next day. hiro wasn't a bad student. in fact, she was pretty smart. she was no teacher's pet though. her teachers either liked her since she was quiet or barely knew who she was. in her school days, hiro had it pretty rough. she was a little chubbier back when she was younger and often got labeled as the "cute but fat girl". needless to say, it hurt her greatly. her whole life, hiro believed she was perfectly fine. her parents always told her how beautiful she was and she believed them. but she slowly began to think they lied to her. coming home, she'd always lie to her parents and never tell them about how people were bullying her. whenever a teacher caught the bullying in action, they called her parents who were upset that hiro never said anything about it. hiro expressed how she wanted to lose weight and reassured them it was for her, not anybody else which was kind of a lie but she did want to confident in her body. they recommended dance classes and a diet that wasn't to harsh for her age.

hiro began taking dance classes and loved them. she could see in a difference in the few months she had been there. eventually, she forgot she was taking them to lose weight until she looked in the mirror almost a year later and noticed how petite her figure was but not in a bad way. hiro found out about k-pop through her dance classes. she loved it. the girl always had a thing for music but only really listened to j-pop and some western pop music. when she found out about k-pop, she was hooked. when one of her friends recommended auditioning after hearing her sing a bit, hiro immediately refused saying she would never pass auditions seeing as she can barely dance in front of her parents. but somehow, they convinced her whenever the jyp global audition came around. hiro auditioned, trying put aside her embarrassment and shyness. she was taken aback whenever they responded saying she was going on to the next round. while her parents were a little hesitant, they let her fly to korea with her father as she was still young. hiro had very little knowledge on the korean language but still managed to get accepted. honestly, she's never gotten over it.

TRAINEE YEARS: 3 years

PRE-DEBUT:

HOW SHE BEGAN TRAINING AT YG/JYP : hiro auditioned through the global auditions after being convinced by her friend.

STAGE PERSONA: seeing as she is in the unit that appeals to those who prefer cuter girl groups, hiro doesn't have any big trouble fitting in. the only thing added is her confidence. when she's performing on stage, she has much more confidence than she does offstage. the thing is, hiro loves to perform and has special exercises she worked on in her trainee days to forget that she's performing in front of so many people.

SCANDALS: because she's more reserved, hiro isn't very problematic or involved in scandals. the only scandal she had was when she was seen with han jisung (stray kids) exiting the jyp building and the media assumed there was something going on. though the rumor was denied by the company, the two did "date" (they were talking and very close to each other) for some time but decided to not get involved in anything romantic seeing as they were both set to debut in their respectful groups.

HIS FIRST IMPRESSION: people would think that it is very odd that the loud, sassy member of nct was first attracted to the shyest of their rival group. donghyuck immediately noticed how she was the one who didn't talk much. pretty much, he was intrigued. so many questions flew through his head but he ultimately wanted to get her to open up. whenever he made an attempt to talk to her, she would blush and try to hide her face which he found cute but she only gave very short answers. after their meeting, he began plotting as many ways as he could to make her come out of her shell and hold a conversation with him. he wanted to get to know her.

HER FIRST IMPRESSION: like with everybody she first meets, hiro was shy and didn't say much. she immediately realized that he was the opposite of her. he was energetic, talkative, and funny — stuff she envied. but she didn't expect for him to try and start a conversation with her. she was not one anyone really took a notice to first unless they thought she was pretty but he seemed genuinely interested in having a conversation with her. hiro could barely get a word out, she was so nervous especially since hadn't spoken to a guy since she began training with comet. the last guy she spoke to was han jisung. upon realizing this after the attempted conversation, she kind of found it funny how the more outgoing types always seemed to be the ones to gravitate towards her.

HOW THEY ACT AROUND EACH OTHER:
	BEGINNING | as usual, hiro is something she will never stop  being — shy. when she first met donghyuck, she was confused as to why he chose her of all members to talk to. but she isn't against becoming friends with him. she tries her best to keep a conversation with him but he talks way more than she does and also changed the topic a lot, sometimes it's stuff she doesn't even know about. but being the nice person she is, she just nods and keeps listening. donghyuck isn't that big of an idiot, though. he does everything he can and brings up about any topic to see what she is interested in. he is on a mission to learn more about her as she seems hesitant to open up to him. he can't help himself though. he was attracted to her quiet and cute demeanor. he's expressed his desire to learn about hiro to the other nct member who tease him and while sometimes he gets annoyed, he's used to it and is actually pretty confident in himself. as for hiro, she's always been a little reluctant to open up because she thinks she's pretty boring herself and would rather just let them stop trying rather than know they left because of who she is. in fact, it took years for her to be completely herself in front of jisung. but, wow, this guy just won't stop trying. at some point, hiro began to realize he genuinely wants to know more about her so she begins to answer him and try to fit in a view sentences here and there in their talks. donghyuck appreciates effors as he understands she doesn't seem comfortable enough with him. he's being patient because something about her is addicting.

	MIDDLE | although she isn't super close to donghyuck, hiro has found herself being more open with him. and now the boy brings out the devil in his personality but very slowly as if he doesn't want to scare her away. of course, she's seen his antics with the nct members and she does notice how he seems to be a tad bit more reserved when he's with her. hiro kinda appreciates it since she isn't a very spontaneous person herself and hates being overwhelmed. but more and more she is seeing that he is a troublemaker at heart. he's begun to tease her especially when she blushes and throwing some good ol' sarcasm here and there. hiro slowly but surely gets more comfortable with him. sometimes the members can be a little shocked when they see the two laughing together or hiro just putting up with donghyuck's teenage boy antics. it's still the talk of the century about how these two became friends. but donghyuck, my mans is wHIPPED. like literally she does anything and in his head he's just like "uwu". he loves that she is showing more of her personality to him. he could spend all day just watching her smile and nod to him while he talks about nonsense and would not get bored. but he's scared. yes, lee donghyuck is scared to ask out his crush. but it's because he doesn't want to scare her away or be rejected. since he knew how long it took to get hiro out of her shell, he is afraid that asking her out would be too risky.

	END | hiro has fallen hard and she knows it. of course, she'll never do anything about it unless he does because she kind of doubts it. as for donghyuck, he's finally thinking of ways to ask the girl out. hiro notices how donghyuck is slowly becoming more touchy and cuddly with her (not that she minds) and how he cheeks turn the lightest shade of pink whenever she talks to him. but she thinks nothing of it. so you can probably imagine how shook she is when donghyuck comes running up to looking like he just ran marathon and all at once says, "i literally sat in my room for two hours thinking about how to tell you without scaring you off but i saw you and i just couldn't wait. so, i really like you and i think i'm a pretty cute and decent guy so do you wanna go out?" and oh no, he is trying to remain confident but she's hesitating and just staring so his self-esteem is lowering by the second. but then she hugs him and then he starts getting all smug again. lemme tell you, they are THE polar opposite couple but it works so well for them. donghyuck is so soft for her but is extroverted enough to make her comfortable around him and hiro is super shy and cute and it brings out the best of the boy. pretty sure this boy would die for her. but y'all know donghyuck gets attacked whenever nct see him (without hiro) and he's literally about to fight all of them.



WONDERLAND !

REQUESTED SCENES:
	— a scene where hiro completely breaks down in the dorms. she can be alone or with other members but i just want pure angst here. she recently messed up her lyrics and choreography the same night after not being able to sleep for almost two days. of course, netizens have to come in and make her feel terrible even more. hiro just kind of breaks down in the dorms and blaming herself for everything.

	— a cute little scene with hiro sitting in front of the window at night, writing poetry and drinking tea and being aesthetic. and all her small little poetry writings are about donghyuck and she's like highkey whipped.

	— omg hide & seek with both groups and poor hiro cannot find a place to hide and (cliche but i love that stuff) suddenly donghyuck pulls her into the closet her was in and it's super small and they're really close to each other. surprisingly, donghyuck doesn't say anything partly because he doesn't want to be found and partly because he's just really enjoying this moment and doesn't feel the need to say anything.
