「奴らの軍事行動を阻害してはおりますが、
こちらの戦力を分散させていることもあり、
大損害を与えるまでには至らず…」

「だから、ワシに本星へ援軍を要請しろと?」

「あれから追っ手を差し向けましたが…
奴は地球のロボットと結託し、
それらを全て退けております」
Blaki: I sent pursuers after him, but... It turned out he was colluding with Earth’s robots, and they were all defeated.

ヴァースへの攻撃が手薄になっても構わん」

Episode 10
Calamity Comes from the Sky


(Scene begins on the Hamamatsu map screen. All the World 5 mechs and the armored car are present.)

「…おそらく、黒い幽霊の目当ては俺だ。
仕掛けてこないようなら、コンタクトを試みる」
Heero: ...Most likely, I am the one the Black Ghost is after. If he does not engage, I will attempt to contact him.

万丈
「わかった。来るぞ」
Banjo: Got it. Here he comes.

(Akito appears.)

アキト
「…見つけたぞ、ガンダム」
Akito: ...I found you, Gundam.

アキト
「!」
Akito: !

ヒイロ
「確認する。お前は敵か?」
Heero: Confirm. Are you my enemy?

アキト
「………」
Akito: ...

ヒイロ
「この世界へ跳ばされた後、お前はすぐに去った。
にも関わらず、俺と接触を図った理由は?」
Heero: You left as soon as we leapt to this world. So for what purpose do you contact me now?

アキト
「…あの時、立ち去ったのは
状況の確認を優先したからだ」
Akito: ...At that time, I left because confirming the situation took priority.

韻子
「嘘った!」
Inko: Whoa!

(思った通り、有人機だった)
Inaho: (As I thought, there was someone manning that machine.)

「その後、俺なりにこの世界について調べた結果、
お前に会う必要があると思った」
Akito: After that I began investigating this world and decided that I needed to meet you.

「悪いが、こちらも元の世界へ戻る方法について
目処は立っていない」
Heero: Sorry, but we don’t know of any means to get back to our original world either.

マリーメイア軍の蜂起に[木連]の急進派は
関わっていたか?」
Akito: ...Then I have another question. Was the radical faction of the [Jovians] involved with the Mariemaia army’s uprising?

Heero: Why do you want to know?

(Eunice detects something.)

万丈さん、[メガノイド]の無人機が
ここへ接近中です!」
Eunice: ! Banjo, [Meganoid] drones incoming!

万丈
「今、この時にか」
Banjo: Now? At a time like this?

(Mileena appears with several Aiai.)

ミレーヌ
「次の相手はこの私ですよ、破嵐万丈」
Mileena: I will be your next opponent, Banjo Haran.

万丈
「思っていたより早い再会だったな。
ヴァースの誰かに命令されたか?」
Banjo: Our reunion has come sooner than I expected. Did someone from Vers order you here?

ミレーヌ
「この私が人間ごときに命じられて動くとでも?」
Mileena: Do you honestly believe I’d ever let a mere human order me around?

万丈
「時と場合によるんじゃないか?」
Banjo: That would depend on the circumstances, wouldn’t it?

ミレーヌ
(ヴァース帝国に協力せよという
コロス様のご命令がなければ、
ザーツバルムの頼みなど…)
Mileema: (If it wasn’t for Lady Koros’s decree to cooperate with the Vers Empire, Saazbaum wouldn’t be able to make such requests...)

何度僕の前に現れようと、結果は同じだ」
Banjo: Well, whatever. No matter how many times you show yourself in front of me, it’ll always end the same.

「ホホホ、その傲慢な口を封じてあげますわ!」
Mileena: Hahaha, I’ll be sure to shut that arrogant mouth of yours!

「やれやれ、よく言うよ」
Banjo: Oh, please. Looks who’s talking.

「もう一度確認する。お前は俺たちの敵か?」
Heero: Once more; confirm. Are you our enemy?

アキト
「…お前にまだ聞きたいことがある。
手を貸そう」
Akito: ...I still have more questions for you. So I’ll lend a hand.

「破嵐万丈! 手勢を増やしたところで、
私たちメガノイドを打ち倒すことなどできませんよ!」
Mileena: Banjo Haran! You should know that increasing your numbers will never be enough to defeat us Meganoids!

万丈
「元々、僕は独りで戦うつもりだったが、
心強い仲間に恵まれたおかげで確信が強まった。
だから、何度でも言うぞ」
Banjo: Originally, I fully intended to face your kind on my own, but being surrounded by so many reliable comrades has only strengthened my confidence. So, I’ll say it again.

万丈
「世のため人のため、
メガノイドの野望を打ち砕くダイターン3!
この日輪の輝きを恐れぬなら、かかって来い!」
Banjo: For the Earth, and its people, Daitarn 3 will crush the evil ambitions of the Meganoids! If you don’t fear the shine of this Sun, then COME AT ME!

(Battle 1 begins.)

(This exchange triggers if Banjo battles Mileena.)

ミレーヌ
「さあ、あなたの確信を絶望に変えてあげましょう!」
Mileena: Come, I’ll turn your confidence into despair!

万丈
「悪いが、以前に嫌という程絶望を味わったんでね…
生半可なことで僕の心は折れないぞ!」
Banjo: Sorry, but I’ve gone through more than enough despair to know that your shallow attempts will never be enough to break my spirit!

(Battle 1 ends when Mileena is defeated.)

ミレーヌ
「くううっ…!!」
Mileena: Kuugh...!

万丈
「さあ、観念するんだな!」
Banjo: Now, accept your fate!

ミレーヌ
「私はまだ…!」
Mileena: I can still—!

(Duke detects something.)

デューク
「これは…!
みんな、[円盤獣]がここへ降下してくるぞ!」
Duke: Those are...! Everyone, [Saucer Beasts] are landing here soon!

ユキ
「しかも、数が多い……!」
Yuki: And there’s a ton of them...!

ミレーヌ
「ここは退いた方が良さそうですね…!」
Mileena: This is my chance to withdraw...!

(Mileena leaves the map.)

韻子
「あっ、逃げた!」
Inko: Ah, she ran off!

万丈
「あいつは放っておいていい!
みんな、円盤獣を迎撃するぞ!」
Banjo: Let her go! Everyone, intercept the Saucer Beasts!


(Scene ends.)

(Next scene picks up where it left off. Saucer Beasts are surrounding the team.)

「敵は全部円盤獣…!」
Eunice: They’re ALL Saucer Beasts...!

万丈
「[ベガ星連合軍]も本腰を入れてきたか」
Banjo: It looks like the [Vegan Empire] is taking this seriously.

韻子
「せっかく、わだつみと合流できたってのに…!」
Inko: And after we went through so much to meet up with the Wadatsumi...!

デューク
「奴らの狙いは俺だ。
みんなはわだつみと共に
ここから離れてくれ」
Duke: I’m the one they’re after. The rest of you should leave this area with the Wadatsumi.

ユニス
「な、何を言ってるんですか!」
Eunice: Wh-What are you saying!?

デューク
「俺ひとりのために、
みんなやわだつみを危険に晒すわけにはいかない」
Duke: I can’t put all of you and the Wadatsumi in danger just for my sake.

アキト
「………」
Akito: ...

デューク
「奴らを倒した後、必ず合流する。
だから、行ってくれ」
Duke: Once they’re defeated, I’ll meet back up with you. So go on!

万丈
「水くさいな、デューク・フリード。
さっきも言った通り、僕は心強い仲間を得られた」
Banjo: Don’t act so distant, Duke Fleed. Like I said a moment ago, I’m surrounded by reliable comrades.

万丈
「君もその中のひとりだ。
放って行くわけにはいかないね」
Banjo: And you are one of them. I’m not going to leave you out here on your own.

デューク
「しかし、連戦の後にあの数では…」
Duke: But, after all these back-to-back battles...

「全て撃破すればいい」
Heero: We will destroy all enemies.

「そう…後顧の憂いを断っておく必要があります」
Inaho: Right. There’s no need to worry about the future.

「みんなで力を合わせば、きっとうまくいきますよ」
Yuki: We can do it if we all work together!

「だから、あたしたちもまだ戦います!」
Inko: That’s why we’re still gonna fight!

Akito: ...I have no objections to that.

Eunice: (I can’t believe even he’s agreeing...)

「わかった…すまない、みんな」
Duke: I see... Thank you, everyone.

「じゃあ、もう一踏ん張りといこうか!」
Banjo: Then let’s give them one more push!

(Battle 2 begins.)

「よし…これで全て片付いたな。
わだつみに連絡し、入港してもらおう」
Banjo: Alright... That wraps up everything. I’ll get in touch with the Wadatsumi and have them enter the port.

Yuki: Understood.

「万丈さん…」
Duke: Banjo—

万丈
「礼ならいらないよ。
お互い、狙われる身だしね」
Banjo: There’s no need for thanks. We both have people targeting us, after all.

デューク
「しかし、俺の場合は…」
Duke: But, in my case...

万丈
「それは言いっこなしだ。
さて、僕たちは生存者の捜索と救助を…」
Banjo: You’re talking too much. Now then, we’ll begin searching for survivors and—

(Everyone detects something.)

ユニス
「ま、また敵襲!?」
Eunice: M-More enemy reinforcements!?

アキト
「いや、この反応は…」
Akito: No, this reading is...

ヒイロ
「…あの時と同じだ」
Heero: ...The same as that time.

ユニス
「こ、これは…! そんな!!」
Eunice: Y-You mean...! No way!!

「どういうことだ!?」
Duke: What’s happening!?

「あ、あたしたちの周りに空間歪曲現象が!
みんな、早く逃げて!!」
Eunice: W-We’re being surrounded by a space distortion phenomenon! Guys, get out of here, quick!!

「まさか、時空跳躍か!?」
Banjo: It couldn’t be, a space-time leap!?

「ああっ!
間に合わないっ!!」
Eunice: Aah! We’re not gonna make it in time!!

木星へと追いやられた人々が作り出した国家。

古代火星人が遺したオーバーテクノロジーを
取り入れる事で、過酷な環境でも生き抜いてきた。
そのオーバーテクロノジーを用いて地球との間に
戦争を起こすが、後に和平条約を結び、現在は新しい
地球連合にも参加している。

Jovians

From:       Martian Successor Nadesico: The Motion Picture – Prince of Darkness

A nation of people who had been originally living on the moon. They fled to Jupiter fearing for their safety due to the increasingly negative opinion of themselves held by those on Earth.
Its official name was "The Anti-Earth Jupiter Sphere Alliance of Ganymede, Callisto, Europa, and Other Planetoid Nations."
They were able to survive in the harsh Martian conditions by adopting the super-technology left behind by the ancient Martians.
The Jovian Federation also made use of this Martian technology to battle their enemy, and war erupted between the two planets. Eventually, however, a peace treaty was signed and now they are also part of the Earth Alliance.
