Slaine: Yes, but Sir Vlad wouldn’t allow me to assist him...

聞き出す恐れがあろうが」
Trillram: Nevertheless. There’s a chance the Terrans may be getting information about our forces from this imposter.

「しかし、本物のアセイラム姫だという可能性も…」
Slaine: But, it could be the real Princess Asseylum as well...

貴様もあのお方がどのように暗殺されたか
知っていよう! あれで生きておられるわけがない!」
Trillram: Laughable! You know full well how the Princess was assassinated! No one could live through that!

(破嵐万丈との一戦で、我が名誉は地に落ちた…。
これでは、恥をそそぐ機会が失われる…!)
Vlad: (The battle with Banjo Haran has tarnished my honor... And with this, I’ve lost any opportunity of rectifying this disgrace...!)

「我々の頭を越えてか?
軌道騎士に何の連絡もなくか?」
Cruhteo: He would do this over our heads? Without so much as a word to the Orbital Knights?

謁見の間を使う。月面基地を呼べ」

「一方的に開戦して、休戦…
なんかすっきりしませんね」
Yuki: Arbitrarily starting a war, and then proposing a truce... This just doesn’t add up.

「ヴァースも一枚岩ではないということか…?」
Yagarai: Does this mean that Vers isn’t a monolithic society...?

カーム
「ま、とりあえず火星との戦争はお休みなんだろ。
皇帝がそう言ってるんだしさ」
Calm: Well, I guess this means the war’s on hold for now. I mean, if that’s what the Emperor is saying.

セラム
(きっと騎士たちの行き過ぎた行動を
おじい様が止めようとしているのでしょう…)
Seylum: (This must be my grandfather attempting to prevent the knights from going too far with their actions...)

ライエ
「…あいつらを甘く見ないで。
大人しく休戦協定を守る連中じゃない。
握り潰されるだけ」
Rayet: ...Don’t be fooled. These aren’t the kind of people that will abide by a cease-fire. They won’t even consider it.

セラム
「そのようなことは…」
Seylum: They aren’t like that...

「いや、ライエの言う通りだよ。
それに、ヴァースとの休戦の件は[メガノイド]と
ベガ星連合軍には関係のない話だ」
Banjo: No, Rayet is right. Besides, an armistice with Vers wouldn’t affect the [Meganoids] or the Vegan Empire.

「ああ、連中はこれを好機と捉えるだろう」
Daisuke: Yes, if anything, they’ll see it as an opportunity.

「だから、状況は好転しちゃいない。
やはり、僕らは連合軍部隊と合流して
ロシアに向かうべきだ」
Banjo: What that means is that our situation hasn’t improved whatsoever. Our best option is still to meet up with the UE Headquarters in Russia.

「直接行かなきゃ、

Banjo: We still need to approach them in person for what we have to tell them.

Seylum: (...If I can just convey to Vers that I am unharmed, then this war...)

フェリー埠頭へ向かおう」

Mileena: ...I am grateful for the information you’ve provided. The elimination of Banjo Haran is something that Lady Koros desires as well.

「あの男と行動を共にしている者たちもな」
Saazbaum: Do not forget the individuals working with him as well.

「ふふ…込み入った事情がおありのようで」
Mileena: Hmhm... You must be in a rather difficult position.

ザーツバルム
「余計な詮索は無用だと言ったぞ?」
Saazbaum:  Did I not say to refrain from inquiring about more than is necessary?

ミレーヌ
「わかっております。
こうやって私たちが通じていることも
内密にしましょう」
Mileena: I understand. And to show that, I’ll even keep this conversation off the record.

「ヴァースと地球が休戦した今、
そちらは何かと動きにくいでしょうからね…」
Mileena: Now that there’s a cease-fire with the Earth, what you can do must be quite limited, I imagine...

だが、休戦の件は手を打っておかねばならぬな…)
Saazbaum: (Hmph, I’ll have to be wary of that one. But still, the matter of this armistice must be dealt with...)

Inko: Wake up, Calm.

「なんだよ…もう出る時間か?」
Calm: What...? Time to go already?

韻子
「何かがこっちへ近づいて来るのよ」
Inko: There’s something coming towards us.

カーム

Calm: !

「1機だけなのか?」
Banjo: It’s just one machine?

ユニス
「はい、これまでに遭遇した機体じゃありません」
Eunice: Yeah, and it’s not one we’ve seen before either.

大介
「こないだの黒い奴でもないということか…。
どうします、万丈さん?」
Daisuke: So then it’s not the black guy from before... What do you make of it, Banjo?

万丈
「そうだな…。
こっちは機体を起動させていないから、
気づかれることはなかろう」
Banjo: Good question... If we don’t activate our machines, it’s possible it may not even notice us.

万丈
「戦闘は極力避けたいから、
やり過ごせるようなら、そうしたいが…」
Banjo: I’d like for us to avoid as many confrontations as possible, so if we can get it to pass us by, that’s all the better...

ライエ
「だけど、もし火星カタフラクトや
メガノイドだったら…」
Rayet: But if it’s a Martian Kataphrakt or a Meganoid...

「あの…あたしも気になります」
Eunice: Um... I wanna know who they are too.

Banjo: Why’s that?

「飛躍した話だとは思いますが、
青森で観測された時空跳躍反応と
こないだの黒い機体…」
Eunice: I know this is a stretch, but there was that space-time leap reading detected in Aomori the other day, and then there was that black machine we ran into...

「そして、今回の未確認飛行物体には
関係があるかもしれません」
Eunice: So I thought it might have some kind of relation with the unidentified object this time.

「つまり…君と同じように
別の世界から来た存在だという
可能性があると?」
Inaho: In other words... You believe there’s a chance it’s come from another world, as you have?

ユニス
「さすが、伊奈帆…話が早いわ」
Eunice: Got it in one, Inaho. Man, you’re quick to catch on.

万丈
「ふむ…」
Banjo: Hm...

カーム
「いくら何でも都合良く考えすぎじゃね?」
Calm: Wouldn’t that be just a bit too convenient for us?

ユニス
「でも、気になるのよ」
Eunice: Still, I wanna find out who it is.

カーム
「フェノメナーの勘か?」
Calm: Is that Phenomena intuition?

ユニス
「そういう予知能力はないんだけど…
第六感とか霊感とか、そんな感じ」
Eunice: It’s not like I have some kind or precognition ability... It’s more like a sixth sense or a gut feeling kind of thing.

(もっとも、マイコは霊感があったけど…)
Eunice: (Although Maiko really does have a supernatural intuition...)

「あてになんねえなあ」
Calm: That doesn’t exactly sound reliable.

ユニス
「じゃあ、女の勘でいいわよ!」
Eunice: Then just call it woman’s intuition!

Calm: Okay, now this is just getting ridi—

「あら、女の勘を甘く考えないでほしいわね」
Beauty: You really shouldn’t underestimate woman’s intuition, you know.

「坊やにはまだわからないかしら」
Reika: I guess a boy wouldn’t really understand that just yet.

「まったくよ」
Yuki: Seriously.

カーム
「えっ、そこに同意?」
Calm: Wha—Wait, you’re all okay with that?

万丈
「…わかった。僕とユニスで様子を見に行こう
個人的にも時空跳躍は気になる」
Banjo: ...Very well then. Eunice and I will go check it out ourselves. I happen to have a personal interest in this space-time leaping myself.

トッポ
「え、どうして?」
Toppo: Huh? Why?

万丈
「[ハイパーゲート]のこともあるから、
ヴァースが興味を示すかもしれない」
Banjo: It’s partly due to the [Hypergates]. Vers might show an interest in them due to their similarities.

万丈
「諸々の事が済めば、ユニスを元の世界へ帰す
手段も考えなきゃならないし…
情報は集めておきたいな」
Banjo: And when everything’s said and done, the next order of business will be finding a way to send Eunice back to her original world. So I’d like to gather as much information on that as possible in the meantime.

ユニス
「ありがとうございます、万丈さん」
Eunice: Thanks a lot, Banjo.

『彷徨える翼』
Episode 8
Wandering Wings


(Scene begins on the map screen of a coastline. Eunice, Banjo, and the armored car appear. Heero is on the map with his Wing Gundam.)

ユニス
「万丈さん、未確認飛行物体が減速しました!」
Eunice: Banjo, the unidentified object has decelerated!

万丈
「ああ、とりあえず仕掛けてくる素振りはないな」
Banjo: Yeah, it doesn’t look like he wants to engage us for the time being.

ヒイロ
「………」
Heero: ...

カーム
「見ろよ、あれ…!」
Calm: Look at that...!

ビューティ
「なんだか綺麗なロボットねえ」
Beauty: What beautiful robot.

セラム
「あの翼、まるで天使のような…」
Seylum: With those wings, it almost looks like an angel...

万丈
「メガノイド、ヴァース、[ベガ星連合軍]の
いずれでもないようだね。こりゃ、ユニスの勘が
当たったか…?」
Banjo: It doesn’t look like it’s with the Meganoids, Vers, or the [Vegan Empire]. Then was Eunice’s intuition accurate...?

ユニス
「万丈さん、あたしが呼び掛けてみてもいいですか」
Eunice: Is it alright if I hail it, Banjo?

万丈
「ああ、頼むよ」
Banjo: Sure, go ahead.

ユニス
「あ、あの…そこの白いロボット、聞こえますか」
Eunice: Um, uh... White robot over there, can you hear me?

ヒイロ
「………」
Heero: ...

ユニス
「あたし、ユニス・エアリーって言います。
もしかして、あなたは別の世界から
ここへ来たんじゃないですか?」
Eunice: My name is Eunice Airy. You wouldn’t happen to have come here from another world, did you?

ヒイロ
「…何故、そうだとわかる?」
Heero: ...How did you know that?

ユニス
「!」
Eunice: !

ライエ
「返事をした…!」
Rayet: He responded...!

カーム
「ユニスが睨んだ通り、あいつも…!?」
Calm: Since he’s staring at Eunice, does that mean...!?

ユニス
「じ、実は、あたしも別の世界から来たんです!」
Eunice: A-Actually, I’m from another world too!

ヒイロ
「その証拠は?」
Heero: Do you have proof?

ユニス
「そ、それは…話すと長くなるんだけど…」
Eunice: W-Well... It’s a long story, but...

ヒイロ
「確認する。
接近中の物体群はお前たちの仲間か?」
Heero: Confirm. Are the approaching entities allies of yours?

ユニス
「え!?」
Eunice: Approaching what now!?

(Mileena and several Aiai’s appear over the sea.)

ミレーヌ
「ふふふ…見つけましたよ、破嵐万丈」
Mileena: Hmhmhm... I’ve found you, Banjo Haran.

万丈
「メガノイドめ、このタイミングで…!」
Banjo: You damn Meganoids have the worst timing...!

ミレーヌ
「さあ、もろともにやっておしまい!」
Mileena: Now, I’ll end you all at once!

(Mileena’s forces fire on everyone. Heero is annoyed.)

ヒイロ
「………」
Heero: ...

ユニス
「やめてよ! 彼は関係ないわ!」
Eunice: Stop! He has nothing to do with us!

ミレーヌ
「人間はメガノイドの前に
ただひれ伏していれば良いのです」
Mileena: All humans should naturally prostrate themselves before Meganoids.

ミレーヌ
「ましてや、我らに刃を向ける者など
何の利用価値もない虫ケラ同然。
始末するのは当然でしょう?」
Mileena: And of course the ones who point their weapons at us are little more than worthless bugs. Is it not a matter of course that I squash them?

万丈
「そこの彼はお前たちに対して、何もしてないぞ」
Banjo: But he hasn’t even done anything to your kind.

ミレーヌ
「だから?
人間であるだけで、メガノイドの
攻撃対象になるのですよ」
Mileena: So? Simple being human makes him subject to the Meganoid’s wrath.

万丈
「その傲慢さ…まさにメガノイドそのものだ。
許すわけにはいかないな」
Banjo: Such arrogance... It embodies Meganoids themselves. I can’t stand it!

ヒイロ
「…敵と認識。排除を開始する」
Heero: ...Enemy recognized. Commencing destruction.

ユニス
「え!?」
Eunice: Huh!?

ヒイロ
「ユニス・エアリー…後で話を聞かせてもらうぞ」
Heero: Eunice Airy... We’ll talk later.

ユニス
「は、はい!」
Eunice: R-Right!

万丈
「世のため人のため、
メガノイドの野望を打ち砕くダイターン3!
この日輪の輝きを恐れぬなら、かかって来い!」
Banjo: For the Earth, and its people, Daitarn 3 will crush the evil ambitions of the Meganoids! If you don’t fear the shine of this Sun, then COME AT ME!

(Battle 1 begins.)

(This line triggers if Heero battles an enemy.)

ヒイロ
「いくぞ、ゼロ」
Heero: Let’s go, Zero.

(This exchange triggers if Heero battles Mileena.)

ミレーヌ
「何者か知りませんが、
破嵐万丈と同じ場にいたのが
運の尽きでしたね!」
Mileena: Whoever you are, your luck ran out when you ended up in the same place as Banjo Haran!

ヒイロ
「それを判断するのは、お前ではない」
Heero: That’s not for you to decide.

(This exchange triggers if Eunice battles Mileena.)

ミレーヌ
「破嵐万丈もろとも、息の根を止めてあげます!」
Mileena: I’ll end your life together with Banjo Haran’s!

ユニス
「時空跳躍の手掛かりが掴めそうなのに、
ここでやられるもんか!」
Eunice: You’re not gonna do me in just after I got a lead about space-time leaps!

(This exchange triggers if Banjo battles Mileena.)

ミレーヌ
「ダイターンと万丈!
コロス様の命により、ここで討ち取ります!」
Mileena: Daitarn and Banjo! By order of Lady Koros, I will strike you down here!

万丈
「ふん…お前にできるかな、それが!」
Banjo: Hmph... You can try!

(Battle 1 ends when Mileena’s HP falls below 50%.)

ミレーヌ
「…コマンダー・ベンメルと同じようにいくと
思ってもらっては困ります」
Mileena: ...I didn’t think I’d have as much trouble as Commander Benmel did.

万丈
「そうかい。
この後に何をしようと、結果は同じだと思うがね」
Banjo: Of course you would. No matter what you try, the result will be the same.

ミレーヌ
「その言葉、後悔することになりますよ!」
Mileena: You’re going to regret those words!

万丈
「…みんな、気を付けろ。増援が来るぞ」
Banjo: ...Everyone, be vigilant. They’re bringing in reinforcements.


(Scene ends.)

(Next scene picks up where it left off. Several Aiais appear around the team.)


万丈
「やれやれ、甘く見られたものだな。
アイアイを増やしたところで、
僕を倒せると思っているのか」
Banjo: I can’t believe how much you underestimate me. You really believe calling more Aiais is enough to defeat me?

ミレーヌ
「同行者を守りながら、
いつまで強気なことを言っていられるかしら?」
Mileena: How long can you speak so confidently while protecting your companions?

万丈
「…!」
Banjo: ...!

万丈
(あいつの狙いは僕だけじゃないということか?
だが、それがコロスの差し金とは思えない…)
Banjo: (Does that mean I’m not her only target? But targeting others doesn’t seem like something that would interest Koros...)

万丈
(例の件の真相を知るヴァースの人間が
一枚噛んでいるのかもしれないな)
Banjo: (It could be that someone within Vers that knows the truth is instigating this.)

(Battle 2 begins.)

(This exchange triggers if Banjo battles Mileena.)

万丈
「お前に今回の件を命じたのは、
コロスだけではあるまい?」
Banjo: You aren’t here only under Koros’s orders, are you?

ミレーヌ
「さあ、何の話です?」
Mileena: Just what are you talking about?

万丈
(即座に否定しなかったな…それも答えだ)
Banjo: (She didn’t deny it immediately... That in itself is an answer.)

(This exchange triggers if Heero battles Mileena.)

ヒイロ
「この戦闘…結果は見えた」
Heero: I’ve seen how this battle will end.

ミレーヌ
「それはお前がここで死ぬということですよ!」
Mileena: Then you’ve seen how you’re going to die here!

(Battle 2 ends when Mileena is defeated.)

ミレーヌ
「ええい、人間ごときに…!」
Mileena: Agh, by mere humans...!

万丈
「メガノイドは決められた能力しか持たないが、
人間は未知の可能性を秘めている…」
Banjo: Meganoids have predetermined abilities, but humans have untold potential tucked away...

万丈
「それが人間とメガノイドとの大きな違いだ」
Banjo: That is the biggest difference between humans and Meganoids.

ミレーヌ
「くっ、破嵐万丈…! 次は必ず!」
Mileena: Grr, Banjo Haran...! Next time for sure!

(Mileena leaves the map.)

ユニス
「あっ、逃げた!」
Eunice: Ah, she ran away!

万丈
「追う必要はない。
あの白いロボットと接触し、
場所を変えて話を聞こう」
Banjo: There’s no need to chase her. Let’s get in touch with that white robot, then talk after we move to a different location.

ユニス
「はい。
あの、ええっと…」
Eunice: Right. Uh, er...

ヒイロ
「ヒイロ・ユイだ」
Heero: Heero Yuy.

ユニス
「じゃあ、ヒイロさん。
あたしたちについて来てくれますか?」
Eunice: Then, Mr. Yuy. Will you please come with us?

ヒイロ
「了解だ。
それと…俺のことは呼び捨てでいい」
Heero: Roger. And...there’s no need for formalities.

ユニス
「う、うん。わかったわ、ヒイロ」
Eunice: O-Okay. Got it, Heero.


(Scene changes to an open sky.)


伊奈帆
「話を要約すると…
君の世界では地球での内紛や、
木星勢力との戦争があって…」
Inaho: To summarize... In your world, there was internal strife amongst the Earth and a war with a powerful force on Jupiter...

伊奈帆
「それらの終結後、マリーメイア軍の反乱が勃発。
君は彼らの本拠地を襲撃し、鎮圧した直後、
時空跳躍に巻き込まれた」
Inaho: When it was brought to an end, Mariemaia’s army began an insurrection. You attacked their stronghold, and immediately following their suppression, were drawn into a space-time leap.

ヒイロ
「そうだ」
Heero: Correct.

万丈
「この世界に来たのは、君だけかい?」
Banjo: Are you the only one who came to this world?

ヒイロ
「あの時、突然現れた光球に飲み込まれたのは、
おそらく俺のウイングゼロと…黒い幽霊」
Heero: When the bright sphere suddenly appeared, the ones that were engulfed in it were my own Wing Zero...and the Black Ghost.

伊奈帆
「黒い…?」
Inaho: Black...?

ユニス
「も、もしかして、この機体!?」
Eunice: I-Is it this machine!?

(There’s the sound of a electronic screen turning on. Eunice shows an image of Black Sarena.)

ヒイロ
「…そうだ」
Heero: ...Correct.

万丈
「君はこいつの素性を知っているのか?」
Banjo: Are you familiar with him?

ヒイロ
「いや。
神出鬼没で破壊行動を行う所属不明機として、
俺がいた組織[プリベンター]でもマークしていた」
Heero: No. Even within my organization, the [Preventers], it was marked as an unidentified machine and considered a phantom appearing from thin air that left destruction in its wake.

伊奈帆
「神出鬼没…
君が言っていた[ボソンジャンプ]で?」
Inaho: From thin air... As in the [Boson Jump] you talked about?

ヒイロ
「だが、あのサイズでジャンプが可能な機体は、
俺たちの世界には存在しない」
Heero: But there isn’t a machine that size capable of performing a jump in our world.

カーム
「そのボソンジャンプってのも、こっちの世界じゃ
とんでもない代物なんだけどさ」
Calm: That Boson Jump thing sounds pretty crazy for a world like ours.

伊奈帆
「ハイパーゲートはあるけどね」
Inaho: Although we do have the Hypergates.

万丈
「ふむ…
僕らの世界とヒイロの世界には、火星に存在する
古代文明の遺跡という希有な共通点があるな」
Banjo: Hm... Our world and Heero’s has at least one unusual thing in common. They both have ruins of an ancient civilization on Mars.

セラム
「もしかして、同じ物なのでしょうか…?」
Seylum: Is it possible that they’re the same ruins...?

万丈
「と言っても、世界が違うからね。
なんらかの関係はあるかもしれないが…」
Banjo: Hard to say, given they’re different worlds. But there may be some kind of connection...

トッポ
「ねえねえ、兄ちゃんのガンダムは
ジャンプできるのかい?」
Toppo: Hey, bro, can your Gundam do that jump thing?

ヒイロ
「不可能だ。
火星極冠遺跡から得られた技術は、
ガンダムに用いられていない」
Heero: Impossible. The technology from the Martian polar ice cap cannot be utilized by the Gundam.

大介
「…黒い幽霊は、
何をしに君たちの前に現れたんだ?」
Daisuke: ...What was the Black Ghost doing before you both appeared here?

ヒイロ
「奴は、こちらへ仕掛けてくる素振りを
見せていなかったが…目的は不明だ。
この世界へ来た後は、すぐにどこかへ飛び去った」
Heero: He hasn’t shown any hostility towards my organization. However his motives are unknown. He flew off almost immediately after we came to this world.

ユニス
(あたしやメグ、リナリアたちと違って、
同じ世界の同じ所へ跳ばされたのね…)
Eunice: (So unlike me, Meg, Rinalia, and the others, they jumped to the same world in the same place...)

万丈
「じゃあ、あとふたつ質問をさせてくれ
君が時空跳躍に巻き込まれた理由について
心当たりはあるかい?」
Banjo: Then let me ask you two more questions. Do you have any idea why you were dragged into a space-time leap?

「ない」

Heaven’s Fall

A catastrophe where the Hypergate went out of control when the previous war between Earth and Mars broke out, resulting in the destruction of the moon.
Fragments of the moon fell to several locations on the Earth, resulting gravitational waves that caused the tectonic shifts, earthquakes, and tsunamis that brought about untold damage.
The cataclysmic disasters caused the world map to change and reduced half of the Earth’s population.


ボリンジャンプ

古代火星人のオーバーテクノロジーを利用した
瞬間移動法。
本来は時空間を移動するための手段だが、時間移動の
方は未だコントロールに至っていない。
ジャンプを行うためにはA級ジャンパー、もしくは
ジャンプの出入り口となるチューリップが必要となる。
ジャンプする物質は、ボソンジャンプフィールド内に
おいて、物質が時間を逆行する性質をもつボース粒子に
変換される。ボース粒子は過去へとさかのぼり、古代の
火星遺跡へたどり着く。そこで物質はボース粒子に
再変換されて未来へ向かい、任意の通常空間へと
再出現の後、元の状態に戻る。
全てのジャンプの制御は、火星極冠遺跡内にあった
演算ユニットが行なっている。なお、演算ユニットが
手元になくても、どこかに存在さえしていれば、
ジャンプは可能である。

Boson Jump

From:       Martian Successor Nadesico: The Motion Picture – Prince of Darkness

An instantaneous means of travel that utilizes ancient Martian super-technology.
Although it was originally a method of travelling through time and space, time travel can still not be controlled.
To perform a jump, a Class-A Jumper is required, or Chulips must be present at both entry and exit points. Matter that jumps is transformed within the Boson Jump field into boson particles, matter with the property of being able to reverse time.
Boson particles pass backwards through time and arrive at ancient Martian ruins. There, the matter is reconverted to boson particles and departs for the future. After reappearing randomly in ordinary space, it resumes its original state.
The Calculation Unit that was located in Martian Polar Cap Ruins controls all Boson Jumps. Even if the Calculation Unit is not available, a jump is possible as long as it exists somewhere.

地球圏統一国家大統領直轄の秘密情報部。
兵器無き平和は武装勢力の出現で容易に
崩壊するという問題を抱えているため、そういった芽を

捜索・探索用の宇宙船や車両だけでなく、鎮圧用の
宇宙艦艇やMSを所持する。
スタッフはコロニー歴195年の紛争で活躍した

They have spaceships and vehicles for search and exploration, as well as battleships and MS for suppression.
