↬ background: she guess you can call her your average train wreck. with a father who beat her mother to a death-like comatose when she was the young age of nine, sooyoung only had her brother to cling to throughout the years of waiting. sooyoung was twelve when her mother woke up, against the odds, with a husband who wasn't any better than before and two children that had to mature past kids their age. they had found solace in the beauty of dance; their beat the heavy footsteps of their sober father and their tune the buzz of cicadas outside their window.
      sooyoung couldn't think of any words when her mother awoke and still loved her father. couldn't think of any words when her brother left to serve the country when she was 16. so she danced. sang love songs to remind herself it still existed but built walls around her heart with every pop and lock of her limbs.
       it was a year years later when auditions were being held by a company looking for fresh faces aspiring to be idols that she found her escape. perhaps she wasn't actually looking for an escape, more like a way to express her emotions and release them into a world where they could be heard.

↬ incidents during trainee life:
     - knocked two producers out : it was his fault, she said both times it happened; he was harassing her. after numerous rejections, he decided it would be good idea to grab her, to which she pushed him away and delivered a swift kick to the head. the second time it happened, it was to one of her friends, a fellow trainee. the same situation, different people, only sooyoung knew the girl couldn't protect herself-- so she did the only thing she knew she could do: beat the dude's ass.
     - "accidentally" set an office fire : she forgot to unplug three devices for a whole consecutive week. or, well, that's what she tells them. tries to act surprised when they tell her they know it wasn't an accident. that they knew it was because they released her friend from the company due to "not fulfilling the standard".
↬ attitude towards other trainees: she's very mother-like towards them, always worrying and asking them about how their day was.
↬ trainees' attitude towards you: they see her as the person to go to when you need advice. somehow, her bluntness was comforting, sometimes. the newbies are mostly afraid of her.
