King Regis, who oversees the land of Lucis, commands his army of soldiers to protect the kingdom from the Niflheim empire's plans to steal the sacred crystal which gives Lucis its magic and power.
The magical kingdom of Lucis is home to the hallowed Crystal, but the menacing empire of Niflheim will stop at nothing to make it theirs. War has raged between the two for as long as most can remember. King Regis of Lucis commands an elite force of soldiers dubbed the Kingsglaive. Wielding their king's magic, Nyx Ulric and his fellow glaives stand before the crown city of Insomnia, fighting to stay the inexorable advance of Niflheim's imperial army. Before the overwhelming military might of the empire, King Regis can only salvage his kingdom by accepting an ultimatum-he must cede all lands outside the crown city, and see his son, Prince Noctis, wed to Lady Lunafreya, the former princess of Tenebrae now captive of Niflheim. As the war of wills rages, the machinations of Niflheim transform Insomnia into an awe-inspiring battleground, pulling Nyx into a struggle for the very survival of the kingdom.
Overall, the game-play was pretty good, but I expected more considering the time Square Enix spent developing this game. I liked how the developers tried to cater for newcomers to the Final Fantasy franchise with simple game-play mechanics and threw in some new ideas. The open world design was not bad either, and travelling around in your car/chocobo was a lot of fun.<br/><br/>The biggest complaint I have is with the story and the characters in this game. The main story line isn&#39;t very compelling and some parts don&#39;t make much sense, even more so if you haven&#39;t seen the other materials made for FFXV. <br/><br/>The characters lack depth and aren&#39;t developed very well. Noctis and Lunafreya&#39;s little love story has little to no back story and zero romance with an anticlimactic end. Noctis is not much of a hero to look up to, he&#39;s just an over-emotional spoiled brat. Ignis is pretty much a nanny-robot. Only Prompto and Gladius were characters that felt right; Prompto brought a light-hearted humour to the four- man gang, and Gladius was the big brother that Noctis needed much to have his back and toughen him up. Ardyn&#39;s actions are confusing and his motives aren&#39;t explained very well. All the other characters are just one-dimensional and simply forgettable.<br/><br/>Other minor complaints I have are with the camera and the lip syncing. The camera was all over the place; a lot of the times it is hard to tell what is going on, more so in small tight spaces. The lip- syncing was just disconnecting.<br/><br/>All-in-all, even though my review contains mostly complaints, it was a good action RPG, but it definitely is the weakest in the Final Fantasy series in story and characters.
such a a glamorous characters and unexpected script<br/><br/>it wasn&#39;t expected at all i didn&#39;t see that plot twist coming it had me on the edge of my seat<br/><br/>many things didn&#39;t make sense at first but later everything will be explained (maybe you will need another run to understand everything)<br/><br/>the visuals were something out of this world probably the best CGI movie to date it felt so real<br/><br/>i had a hard time to believe they are not real actor their acting and facial expression voices were so real. the music is outstanding.<br/><br/>i never played any FF game before but this movie did its job and made made me want to play the actual game asap<br/><br/>i want to know what will happen next to Insomnia/Lady Luna, Noctis and his friends next __________________________<br/><br/>there was only one thing i didn&#39;t like some action scenes were hard to keep track with the camera moves a lot and too fast but that didn&#39;t bother me too much<br/><br/>not sure why would anyone rate it at least less than 7<br/><br/>good Job SE and the other team behind it
Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV is so lacking in human interest, or even in merely satisfying action, it is difficult to imagine anyone wanting to pay to sit through it. What Takeshi Nozue's movie does offer is massive, vividly rendered landscapes of sci-fi/fantasy pastiche, home to mayhem that is prettier than it is involving.
