The day I lost my wallet (True Story)

So the movie Watchmen was out in theaters and I waited a few days to see it, because I usually don’t watch movies the day they come out. So I heard really good things about the movie and so after school one day I decided to go the mall and see it.
The lines for the tickets were not too long as this may have been in the middle of the week, but I really don’t remember what day I watched it. So anyway I watched the movie, and really enjoyed it. After the movie ended I decided to leave the theater and walk around the mall and noticed my wallet was not in my pocket, so I decided to head back to the theater and ask if I could check to see if my wallet was their and I had no luck searching.
So I was bummed out and walked to Hot Topic and checked to see if I had enough cash to buy that Paramore shirt, (the one that had Riot on it) but I did not how enough money. After that was done I decided to call my dad and tell him that the movie is over and I was ready to be picked up, (I was in high school) so when my dad came I told him I lost my wallet and we went back to the theater and looked around and eventually found the wallet on the other side of the room that I was sitting on.
That is when I learned to always check my pockets before leaving a place, so that I make sure I have everything with me
