Sinnoh Episode 5

Cycling Road was a very quiet path for most trainers and dedicated cyclists to travel down whether to go to their next destination or to work their legs out. Was is used here cause for the time being...

"YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! 2ND BADGE SECURED!!! LET"S GO JOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOJO!!"
Yang was riding a bike with Joudai following her on his own screaming to the sky with the sun setting over them, giving off a orange hue off of the recently washed road. The people on the path gave them both annoyed looks, but didn't do anything about it once they saw who was yelling...

The battle against Stahl wasn't really hard at all for the 2 teens. Joudai went first with his Monferno and Staravia each taking down 2 mons out of the team of Ferroseed, Tangela, Grotle and Simisage. Even tho Stahl tried to pass out hazards in spikes and stealth rocks as well as status ailments, Both Monferno and Staravia was able to clear the team out and earn Jalen his 2nd badge.  As for Yang, even tho she could had swept with Combusken, after taking down 2 mons, she returned him and threw out Makuhita to give it some experience. And it paid off big time as after taking down Simisage, Makuhita's body begin to glow as his hands got bigger, his body gotten fatter, eyes opening up, and eventually finished it with a big stomp to reveal himself as a Hariyama.

To say Yang was delighted is putting it slightly as she stormed out of the gym with both a new mon, a new badge, and a new TM in Grass Knot that Joudai also got which he taught it to Monferno for Water/Rock/Ground coverage as well as to his Pikachu.. Yang meanwhile gave it to no one on her team, since Breloom have a higher ATK than it does for SPA so she reasoned that it would had been a waste._

However, their win over the gym leader wasn't the highlight of the day as moments after they left, they saw news people storming that rather sinister looking building up north. As it turns out, that was a Galactic Building which was stormed by Raven Branwen who had assists from 2 girls of unknown identities. Yang was kinda upset of hearing that her mom was close by, but wouldn't see her. But her victory and newly earned badge help eased her mood...and here we are as the two heroes get to the end of Cycling Road.

"Allrighty, Jojo...Next stop is Mt. Coronet where our next gym badge awaits us.." Yang park her bike and fold it to her backpack as she look up to the mountain that splits the Sinnoh Region in half with a daring look. "I think we can handle it just fine...right Jojo?" Joudai, who was doing the same stand next to her and nods as he adjust his hat. "Yeah, let's go."

As they took some steps, they soon hear a voice calling out to them. "JOUDAI!" Joudai turns around and see a green-haired girl wearing a white longcoat with glasses on her face. Wearing a black shirt and jeans with sneakers on as she catches her breath upon catching up to them. She nods and smile at him. "Heya, Joudai! Remember me?" Joudai gives her a look over before nodding as Yang stand there with her hands behind her head with a curious look. "You're Byleth Eisner, Professor Sitri's daughter, right?"

"Correct! Glad to see that you remember me..." She look over at Yang and nods. "I see you made a new friend...The name's Byleth Eisner." "Yo, sup! I'm Yang Xiao Long..." She smiles and hug Joudai close to her with one arm. "His lovely girlfriend!" Byleth widen her eyes with an amused look at Joudai who's blushing and hiding his face with the brim of his hat. "Oh, really now?" ".....It's a long story..."


"Anyway...I'm glad to see you're doing well, Joudai. How many badges you have?" Byleth watches as Joudai holds up 2 fingers. "2 at the moment, the gym leaders are easy for now...Maybe the next one will be tougher since I'll be relying only on Carvanha."Joudai rubs his chin as Yang merely smirks and flexes an arm. "Meanwhile I shall be sweeping her team with my all-fighting team...No issues here for me..."

Byleth was gonna tell them that the gym leaders from 2 badges and up will have a variety of pokemons on their teams to balance themselves out...but realized that since no one told her back during her trainer days that she will do the same for these 2. Hiding a evil smirk behind her hand, she nods. "I look forward to seeing you two progress. Now if you excuse me...I need to go to Wayward Cave for some info gathering.

Byleth waves them off as she head upwards to Wayward Cave, leaving the two trainers to make their way through Mt. Coronet and make their way to their next destination, Hearthome Town.
