<Sandwitches> <Gilliam_Jaeger> Far from the battle, on the other side of the amusement park, two figures watch the Mode Warp mechs leave atop the ferris wheel.
<Sandwitches> <Gilliam_Jaeger> The first is a blonde wearing a crimson wide-brimmed hat and a matching longcoat that billows in the breeze. And beside him stands a young boy with messy black hair wearing a black silk vest, couldn't be older than fourteen, who takes a drag on his cigarette.
<Gilliam_Jaeger> Vash the Stampede breathes a sigh of relief. "That turned out pretty well, all considered. We didn't need to get involved at all."
<Sandwitches> The boy smirks. "Those buggers sure are starting to get cocky, eh guv?" he asks his partner, with a distinctly British accent.
<Gilliam_Jaeger> Vash's expression darkens. "Yeah...They're starting to push their legal boundaries. We'll have to do something about that."
<Sandwitches> "They're gunna be our next targets then?  Works for me."
<Gilliam_Jaeger> "They're due for another...'inspection' 'round about now, anyway." Vash taps his chin as he stares out over the now-abandoned amusement park. "Still...That 'dragon' they were so eager to stick their necks out to capture...It must be awfully important for them to risk legal retribution for..." Vash turns to look at the boy next to him. "Walter, were you able to...?"
<Sandwitches> "I could, its certainly not a foreigner, but...Not sure its such a mint idea, aye? It smells like..." The young man frowns thoughtfully as he takes a long drag on his cigarette., "...Like there's somethin' hunting for it, yeah?"
<Gilliam_Jaeger> Vash arches an eyebrow behind his orange-tinted sunglasses. "...'hunting for it'?"
<Sandwitches> "Hard to explain... but it's not sumfink we want to draw onto us."
<Gilliam_Jaeger> Vash nods. "Something we ought to keep an eye on, then." He stretches, and smiles. "Well, we're not going to get much more done here, lets head back home."
<Gilliam_Jaeger> Just as Vash was about to turn around and leap off the Ferris Wheel, something interesting caught his eye. Specifically, a blonde-haired woman appeared next to the calcified body of the dragon in a yellow flash. "Hello, hello...Think we go say hello to that lady down there, Walter?"
<Gilliam_Jaeger> *Think we should go say hi to that lady down there, Walter?
<Sandwitches> Walter follows Vash's gaze and slowly arches an eyebrow.  "And just what Lady would that be?"
<Gilliam_Jaeger> "The one down there, next to the 'dragon'."
<Sandwitches> "Yeh going blind, guv? I don't see anyone down there."
<Gilliam_Jaeger> "You can't see her then?" Vash asks. "Well, I'm quite sure I'm not going mad, so that means she must be doing something rather interesting..." Vash grins. "Come on, lets get a closer look!" he says as he hops off the Ferris Wheel.
<Sandwitches> "Whatever yeh say, Guv."  Walter folloed Vash off the Ferris Wheel, the pair zooming off towards the woman.
<Sandwitches> The woman stops her inspection and looks up to the pair as they approach.
<Gilliam_Jaeger> Vash slows down to a walk as he gets closer, not wanting to seem like a threat. God knows what this woman could do, after all. "So, you see her now, Walter?" He quietly asks the boy next to him.
<Sandwitches> The young man slowly shakes his head.
<Gilliam_Jaeger> Vash comes to a stop a few meters away from the woman, and raises a hand in greeting, putting on his best grin. "Hi there!"

<Sandwitches> The woman Looks over the Vash and nods.  "Vash the Stampede, I presume"
<Gilliam_Jaeger> "Theeee~ one and only!" Vash says, doffing his hat. "I don't believe I've had the pleasure, miss...?"
<Sandwitches> "Banagher."  The woman responds.
<Gilliam_Jaeger> "A pleasure to make your acquaintance. So, what are you doing here?"
<Sandwitches> "Investigating."
<Gilliam_Jaeger> Vash leans to the side, looking past her at the dragon. "Well, have you found anything interesting?"
<Sandwitches> "It's still alive.  It simply shed this."
<Gilliam_Jaeger> Vash blinks, and his attention returns to the woman. "So its like a cicada or snake or something?"
<Sandwitches> "In a loose sense, yes."
<Gilliam_Jaeger> "Huh." Vash walks up to the shed shell of the dragon and pokes it with his left arm.
<Sandwitches> "No, wai-"  The woman rises her arm to stop him, as the entire dragon begins to collapse in on itself.
<Gilliam_Jaeger> Vash blinks, looking very surprised. "Uh..."
<Sandwitches> The woman sighs and brings a hand to her face.
<Gilliam_Jaeger> Vash scratches the back of his head while laughing nervously.
<Gilliam_Jaeger> "Sorry."
<Gilliam_Jaeger> *"...Sorry."
<Sandwitches> The woman looks to Walter.  "This normal?"
<Sandwitches> The young man grins and nods.  "Aye."
<Gilliam_Jaeger> Vash slumps over. "...Thanks for the vote of confidence there..."
<Sandwitches> The woman shakes her head.  "You need to learn to operate with more subtly."
<Gilliam_Jaeger> Vash suddenly straightens up. "Well, as a consolation prize...!" He turns around, messes around with the collapsed husk, and whips back around, holding out a bag to the blonde woman with a grin. "Here's a bag full of dragon bits!"
<Sandwitches> She stares at the bag for a moment...  before accepting it.  "... Thank you."
<Gilliam_Jaeger> "My pleasure. Now, uh, I think I'd better get going before I..." Vash looks nervously at the park attractions around him, "...break something else."
<Sandwitches> "That would probably be for the best." The woman agrees
<Gilliam_Jaeger> "Well, later!" Vash says as he walks off, Walter in tow. "Don't hesitate to call if you need help or whatever!"
<Gilliam_Jaeger> As they walk out of hearing distance, and farther still (never know how sharp peoples senses are nowadays) Vash turns to Walter. "I told you she was there."
<Sandwitches> "I couldn't see her, only hear her."
<Gilliam_Jaeger> "Huh...What does that mean, you think?"
<Sandwitches> "Not a clue, Guv."
