  3. Synopsis: You and “Bro-kun” decided that it would be more crucial to survive the zombie outbreak. This route is separate from other routes in which “bro-kun” dies. This is going to be based off a possible early choice if enough flags are raised. There will be one good end, multiple, and what I like to call “bad-ass bad end”. There will be multiple dead end flags, and possible ways out of them. If this is too much, I will gladly trim this down. This route is going to contain a bit of “comic relief”/’bad ass-ery”, yet maintain the “grimdark” feel that this entire story has. This is going to focus on the relationship, well more “the friendship” between “Bro-kun” and the player.

  6. Act 1:
  7. To start on the Bro route, options will appear with early dialogue between Sara and Bro-kun. While surviving with Sara, you turn to Bro-kun for advice on what to do, and how to gather supplies effectively since he claims to know a lot.
  8. From here you will be faced with the following choices.
  9. >Listen to bro and go on the look for weapons
  10. >Listen to bro and go on the look for food
  11. >Do not listen to bro
  12. The first option is going to raise a flag for good end, since it will have “Bro-kun” finding a sledge hammer, and for the player a baseball bat. Easily accessible weapons.
  13. The second option is going to raise a flag for a bad end. Going out into areas unarmed to find food will certainly lead to death.
  14. The third option does not lead you onto the Bro route.

  16. Act 2:
  17. Now armed with weapons, you are surviving with Sara and Bro-kun, and you are housed at Bro-kun’s place which is, of course ready for the apocalypse. You, Bro-kun and Sara go out when out of supplies (food/water). Bro-kun offers advice on where to go and there is a choice of listening to him and going with your gut.
  18. Choices are as followed:
  19. >Go with your gut - Supermarket
  20. >Go with your gut – Nearby strip-mall
  21. >Listen to Bro-kun – Convenience store
  22. >Listen to Bro-kun – Pharmacy
  23. The two follow your gut options lead to a bad ending, which has Bro-kun, Sara and you dying.

  25. Whereas listening to Bro-kun, you have the two other choices. Both are good choices to survive, however the Pharmacy yields a better “reward” for later. Here you pick up medicine/painkillers. In the convenience store you only pick up water/canned food.

  27. Act III:
  28. In this act, it is the final part of Bro-kun’s route. It is either survive or die. At the beginning the three of you have to once again search for more supplies after surviving two days. While searching through a store, you are attacked. However, in this attacked Sara is not so lucky and she is killed by zombies. While escaping Bro-kun trips and twists his ankle. You have two options. Three if you picked the Pharmacy choice from earlier.
  29. Choices:
  30. Choice 1: Leave Bro-kun behind to buy you time to escape. This leads to bad-ass bad end, due to the nature of what Bro-kun does. His arm is ripped off by a zombie biting through his flesh. He then beats the zombie back with his severed arm before passing out.
  31. Choice 2: Stay with Bro-kun and fight off the zombies, only to eventually die going all out with Bro-kun.
  32. Choice 3: Give Bro-kun the pain killers you got from the Pharmacy. This allows him to ignore the pain and run on his sprained ankle allowing you two to escape.
