Local Motorcycle Club sells ice cream for charity


In December 6th, 2016 SAN published an article about a local Motorcycle Club, Hornets, hosting a charity ride event for the Children’s Brain Tumor Foundation in Los Santos. Aiming to raise $50,000 for the charity, the event managers partnered with the Ride For Kids Foundation in the hope that they would be able to have a decent turnout and raise a large sum of money, which they did.

The boys are back at it again, this time with a different approach.  I stumbled upon a curious looking ice cream van on Washington street, right across Idlewood Pizza Stacks and to my surprise was greeted with a big smile by no other but the current President of the Hornets.

[i]"We think there's a lot of people who like ice cream, and sunny days like these, it sells good."[/i]

"Haha, it turned out as a witty investment and the van was going to be scrapped. We found better use for it, and decided to bring it out for the public."

After questioning whether or not the public has had an issue buying ice cream from a MC due to their image, the President gave the following reply:

 "This is actually the first time we're out selling ice cream, so we have to find out how it goes. We have been doing charity events before, and this is our way of showing love to the community. Do not assume that we're hard. As for the income what we make with the ice cream, certain amount of it goes to All Saints Hospital. "

After posing for a few photographs and wishing me a good day, the boys packed up and headed towards the Santa Maria beach where they hopefully had no problem selling ice cream for the sunbathers.
